These letter openers work well. The plastic bit that you hold onto can be a little slippery, so you do have to hold onto it with a little more strength than you think. No complaints!

Great letter openers

Ordered these because everyone in our family tends to lose or break 'em. So, this item fit the bill. We have four each (to lose!) Keeping mine safe hidden in my work desk drawer (now the cat's outta the bag). Be careful when picking up the opener (i.e. keep your fingers away from the blade) as it's sharp.

Sharp and works well.

This came in a plastic bag and every single one is individually wrap separately as well. There is 4 of each color and cuts sharply. This is a really good pack to bring to work and share. There is enough to go around and small enough to fit in a pencil case on the go.

They work cleanly and safely.

I had received a letter opener of this type in the mail 10 years ago or so and loved. Sadly it was lost. One day I decided to search for a new one and found these at Amazon. I ordered the 12 pack and they are everything I hoped they would be. They do an awesome job opening mail cleanly and safely. I have given a few to relatives and friends. I recommend these to anyone looking for a good letter opener.

Perfect tool for cleaning out vacuum brush roll

I needed this item for an unconventional purpose. My vacuum brush roll is always getting clogged from my long hair and scissors do not work. I decided to try this tool because it was cheap and disposable. I am impressed with how perfectly it sliced through about a 1/2 inch of tightly wound hair like it was nothing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a versatile, durable, and inexpensive cutting tool.

Don't need twelve letter openers, but who could resist such a bargain? Need a replacement for the one I lost, now I have twelve. It'll take me a long time to loose twelve, so I'm set for a very long time.

Great value for the money, work very well. Keek away from children with small finger, they could potentially hurt themselves. Would recommend to anyone.

a cut above

They do the job well.I have a couple that I keep separate for just envelopes and a couple that I abuse by opening packages from nasty packing tape and also those hard to open molded plastic items.they do dull over time but the price was right and safer than utility blades.
