Great lights for my PC video recording with WebCam

I'm recording/streaming videos on my PC with my webcam and I need some additional light for the image to be nice. These lights are perfect. They don't take up too much space and you don't need a big tripod. I just set one up next to my monitor and the other laid down on the bookshelf. Perfect! The videos come out so much better now!

Nice Basic Lights

I use these for e-commerce product photography. Makes your photos look much more professional, takes less than a minute to assemble. Should last long because of the LED lights too. Would recommend.

Great lights

Used for taking photos of clothing. Nice bright light. Adjustable. The claws store easy.

Good, adjustable, bright light.

Nice lights for the price. For my purposes, these lights are bright enough. They may be too bright if you need a close up of a small object. I'd say best distance is 2-5 feet, or about one to two meters. The filters are a nice bonus. One of the legs had a slightly bent tip, which prevented the leg extension from engaging, but about a minute with some needle-nose solved that small problem. The leg base unscrews, and the light can then be mounted on a pole of light stand. I consider this a good purchase, and I am pleased with the items.

Light weight and adjustable, great for what I need.

I bought this set of lights for my still life set up. It is a great product, it gives me the brightness I need. I can also set it up where I can control the light in different angles. It a great set and the price was just right. The different color lens are awesome and it all depends on the effect you need for a photo and in my case for painting. Packaging was great and it arrived on schedule. I would definitely recommend this product.

A great setup for shooting in a small space.

I have a tiny house with poor lighting, so the only place I can do my product photography is in my living room. Living in Cleveland, there's just not enough natural light most days to get quality images. These little lights are a great way to fix that! The heads are adjustable to direct the light where you need it, and stay in place very well with the help of the turn locks. I love that the tripod feet can be slid up into the poles and the heads folded down for storage. Again, tiny house, so big, standard light poles are just not an option. The only thing that would make this kit better is if they came with diffusers or a dimmer switch for the lights, since the white light is actually a little *too* bright for my small shooting space. I managed to solve this issue though by draping a tissue over each light. These have already been a total game-changer for me! If you're on the fence, I'd recommend taking the plunge. For the price, I don't think you'll find a better setup for staging photos in a small space.

Great for filming and photography for desktop YouTube videos

I film planner videos. Everything is done on my desktop. I set up two lights on each side and have an LED workbench light above. This is great for each side to offset many of my shadows! I use the blue filter under the LED light because I love how bright it makes my creations look on camera. They're very easy to set up as well. There is a cap that comes off the bottom and three spokes come out for legs. The legs open up even wider to provide a solid base for the lamps. My only wish was that I could mount them but these work very well. The light is very bright and high quality. The pictures provided are what my desktop looks like at night. Just the LED light above on the left and then my LED light above plus the two lights on the side to offset any glare. Works perfectly! Great for filming desktop videos or videos where you use your hands in front. Also, great for using next to or shining into a lightbox of some sort. I absolutely love how compact these lights are as well. The legs fold right back up inside of the light and the lights are adjustable up and down and can be pretty compacted themselves. They come with a standard US plug each so you need two separate outlet inputs to plug them both in at the same time or an extension cord. Would definitely recommend!

Love these little light lamps

We post handmade baskets for sale on Etsy, which requires use of photo illustrations of the work. In addition, we need to provide photos along with applications submitted for judging at shows where we want to sell our work. Using a small portable light studio, we have used reflective white foam to enhance the lighting. Unfortunately there were still some dark spots in the resulting photos, which we wanted to brighten up (photo editing can only achieve just so much). These lamps are super for that purpose. Easy to manage, and did I mention very portable. The LED's are cool, so the extra light isn't adding heat to the studio, and the light is very close to daylight.

Great photo lights with one minor problem for me.

I photograph jewelry and hoped these lamps would eliminate some pf the shadows I've been getting from the lights from my soft boxes. But it appears that these lamps create even harsher shadows. They are still useful however to allow me to focus on some details that I couldn't before, because of their maneuverability and brightness. They are easy to use and setup is no problem. I like them but just wish they came with a softness difuser.
