Great Buy!

This headset normally works flawlessly. However, the headset I received is full of bugs and glitches. When I first turn it on, it keeps cycling on over and over and over and over again. It loses blue-tooth connection randomly even though I'm hanging on to the phone. When it works properly (which is not often,) the sound quality, battery life, and ease of use are great :-( Update 10/15/18 I have changed this review to a 4 star from a 1. Originally the headset did not work properly, but the seller contacted me promptly and sent me a replacement. I love these headsets. They work great and the sound quality is awesome. The seller also made what was a disappointment into a great purchasing experience. Thanks DylanDirect!

I Like These!

I was never a fan of ear buds...until now. Great sound quality. They even have an EQ adjustment (bass/treble). The sound isolation is also surprisingly good. I could even listen to music with the TV turned up...usually ear buds don’t do well with background noise. They come with small/medium & large ear fittings, so they fit comfortably too. Bluetooth is great, not having a wire-phone connection, but I especially like how these fit around the neck. I wear a hat while hiking/jogging and headphones don’t fit well under a hat. The design is elegantly-simple, making these easy to use. The packaging is even impressive, like an “Apple” product!

Nice quality Blutooth earbuds at a great price!

Very nice Blutooth headset. Controls are easy to use and conveniently located. Earbuds extend plenty long enough for anyone and retract quickly with just the touch of a button. Folding action is a nice bonus. Love them! I ordered a second set for my wife and she loves them too.

Definitely a pleasant surprise!

TLDR. This is a great product for its price range. Sound quality is good enough to make you not really think about it. Build quality feels flimsy at first, but then you learn this is quiet a sturdy and well built device. Usability is as easy as it gets. There are minor things that irk me but nothing gamebreaking. This is one of those items that shock you once you start using them on a daily basis. The box comes with all you need, the headset, charging cable, earbud replacements and the manual... this is a reflection on how simple yet effective this product is. You don't need nothing fancy to get the most out of this. Un-boxing ***** The "out of the box" experience wasn't as I expected, as my initial impression was "well, this is going to break quite easily". *Spoiler* Boy was I wrong!. Setting it up was extremely easy, I did have to perform a bit of a charge right out of the box (something on the lines of 1h) and right away paired it up with my phone and just like that it was working. Nothing tricky, nothing fancy, straight to the point. Seeing that it came with replacements for the earbud pieces was a nice surprise, given how cheap this thing is. Build quality **** This is where I was a bit concerned after I unboxed it, as the middle part of the neck band area feels definitely weaker in comparison to the rest of the item. While putting it on the first time, I was afraid of snapping it, and after hearing stories from friends who have owned a couple of this puppies over the years, well... I couldn't avoid feeling I could potentially break them right away. Now, this feeling definitely wore off as I quickly realized that this things can take punches like it's nothing! I wear them daily while going to the gym, running, put them in my backpack (which I don't treat lightly), take them off and on constantly and I swear they feel more solid each time. The other "weak" part of this are the cables themselves, they are definitely not the best cables ever, and after a weeks of usage they then to "bend" in a very particular way depending on how you put the actual ear pieces into your ears. Battery Life ***** I charged it ONCE for about 1h after my unboxing... it's been almost 3 weeks and it's still not even prompting me the "75% battery remaining" voice line. Sound quality **** It's nothing special but it's not bad either, has decent mid and high ranges, but a ok bass line. So don't expect to get your eardrums massaged by this things. With that being said, I DO recommend for you to change the plastic parts to better fit your ear canal, otherwise it WILL mess with how well you get the sound into your ears. Push them too deep and you'll have sound distortion, have them too loose and you'll lose a lot of sound quality. Irks I wish the "next" and "previous" songs were inverted, as of now, the "next" song lands on the back of the band, which *to me* feels unnatural. The lady's voice announcing everything you do is a bit annoying after a while, specially when skipping songs. Also, there are some mistakes on things she says like "Your device is disconnect" (instead of "disconnected"). When doing exercise, you will want to bend the ends a bit so that they grip your neck, otherwise they will bounce A LOT if you run. Cables feel like they might snap any time soon, but it is a $20 device after all. You can't go wrong buying these, they will pretty much satisfy all of your needs while lasting you for a very long time.

Great Bluetooth headphones!

Love these! I have used them for the past two weeks for music and phone calls. I can communicate much better with the headset then I can with my car's bluetooth. No more background noise and asking people to repeat what they said.

The most comfortable, easy to carry Bluetooth headset!

This headset has great sound, comfortable to wear, and easy on your ears. I love that its foldable, and I can carry it easy in my handbag without worrying it'll get lost among all my stuff. It's cool that the ear buds have a retractable string so you dont have the casing on your head. I like it a lot, and would definitely buy another pair

Amazing product. Outstanding Customer Service!

This is the 4th Dylan SX-991 I have Broughton the past two years. As soon as I got my first one I was hooked. I loved the quality and the sound was superb although a tad too much bass for phone calls. I bought two more for family members and likewise they have been enjoying them for a long time now. I have had some issues in the past but every time Dylan immediately addressed the issue and replaced them immediately free of charge no questions asked! So, recently, the neck band of my headset that I wear everyday for about 18 hours a day finally snapped, so I ordered a new one. To my delight the new one has improved sound quality and the bass has been reduced so phone calls sound more natural. Thank you Dylan again!! On day two I switched on the headset and only had sound in the right earbud. I switched it off and on again and had sound in both ears! On day three I again had no sound in the left ear and couldn’t get it to work. So I emailed Dylan and as usual they replied promptly and have issued me a code with which to order a new one free of charge and no mention sending back the old one! Now this is what I call Customer Service and this is the main reason I am staying loyal to Dylan and will continue to buy their product over anyone else’s. I look forward to the arrival of my new Headset and will continue to recommend it to friends and family as I have done in the past!

Really Nice Headset

Love this headset. The rubber has a nice soft feel, really like the way it folds for compact storage, the sound quality is really good, the ear buds are comfortable and fit well, the volume/next/previous button is in a good location and are easy to work. I did read the instructions before using it and am really glad that I did because they were very informative. Always turn the headset off before charging, charge completely before using the first time, and shows the proper way to retract the earbuds. I'm hoping that following these instructions will make this headset last a long time. At this time I would recommend this headset to my friends and family.

Great device!

I like the neckband because the light buds are not discomforts in my ears. Also I love the range this Bluetooth has very good connection, even go outside in nature!
