Works! Like the digital readout!

I purchased this product to track the humidity level in my basement. I chose this product because of the digital readout on the unit. I looked at others that did not have this feature. It was very easy to set up, and so far it has been working well. On one occasion I could not get the bluetooth to connect, which is required to update the data, but the next time it started working again fine. I have to get pretty close to the unit, which requires going downstairs into the basement, but this is not a problem for me. I update it every few days. The graphs in the app are helpful. So far I have been able to tell that the humidity level is decreasing. I have been tracking for about a month and will continue for another month or two. I have not exported the data and I don't think I will need to for my purposes.

plotting humidity and temperature over hours to months is fantastic! Track crawl space humidity and attic temperatures to verify proper ventilation AND you can check it on your phone! Now I have to buy a second to compare the inside and outside conditions. The only short fall is mounting is with a 3M two sided tape only with no nail/screw/hook hole

Super simple to use

Smaller than I expected but doesn't really matter I'm not planning to look at it much. Easy to use, hooked up to Bluetooth first try, double tap to switch back and forth between celcius and f (yeah not even autocorrect can help me spell that.) Main thing is I can monitor the temperature of my garage from inside. Right now it goes through two exterior walls about 20 feet away and it's slow, much slower than within the same room but it works. Seems like that's about the max distance you'll get. The temperature and humidity sensor is pretty cool and seems very accurate. Oh the app is not easy to find you have to search "govee" with the quotation marks to get it in the Android app store.

Really Nice Quality and Accuracy.

I bought this item primarily to monitor the humidity in my Florida condo. Once I got my Govee unit up and running and synced it to the Govee app on my cell phone via Bluetooth, I mounted the backing plate to the wall just above my thermostat. I was surprised by how sensitive it was to the temp from just my fingers. I then calibrated the hygrometer portion by sealing it inside a airtight zip-lock baggie with a 1/2 cup of table salt dissolved into a 1/4 cup of water. 12 hours later the humidity reading read 78%. It should have been 75%. So I used the app to remotely adjust my Govee to 75%. I removed it from the bag and reattached it to the mounting plate. It took awhile for it to record the actual humidity which is now 52%. So far I am very pleased. Yes, it's pricey, but I think the build quality and components are worth it.

easy to install

It is easy to install. Just peel off the 3M tape and stick on the wall. The app is useful cause I could see the data recording. Loading data does take a while when I first to use app though. But I do like the curve! Btw I need to figure out how to change the unit of the temperature no the device.

Good size display yet compact.

I was mostly interested in keeping track of temperature and humidity in a room that has lot of electronic equipment. This works very well with my older Moto Pure White edition android phone. I liked the temperature scale on the graph which adjust automatically to show the best curves on the screen. The cradle has 3m sticky pad on the back so you can mount it anywhere. Verified the accuracy (temp only) with both laser and dial thermometers. The battery level is still pegged at max since I bought it back in mid August.

This device really works

I received the Wifi version as a gift for monitoring the temperature in a vacation home during the winter. I got an alert that wifi connection had been lost (due to a power outage). I checked back later on the App and saw the temperature was back in the acceptable range. However in the history I saw that during the outage the temperature had dropped way below the set point. I highly recommend this device for anyone with a second home subject to freezing temperatures.

Great Quality and easy to use!

The Wifi thermometer and Hygrometer are a great option for me and my family. I love that I can monitor the temperature in my garage for my dogs and my son's room from our phones without having to disturb either room. It will also come in handy during planting season to monitor my seedlings as I get ready for my garden. Setup was easy and the app is straightforward. Great product!

Great Little Unit!

This is a great little unit. I was pleased with how easy it was to set up. Pull out the tape preserving the battery and stick it to wall. We have it on our shed outside (in the shade) and then see what the actual temperature is. The 3M tape on the back stuck hard and fast to our vinyl siding. Hopefully that lasts a long time. We are up north and we'll see how the 3M sticky product holds up through -20 and -30 in the winter! We decided to upgrade from the old fashioned large thermometers so we would know humidity as well. That app was easy to download and simple to pull up on both of our phones. It looks like it's fairly easy to replace the battery, too, as you can slide the unit out of the holder, pop the back off and replace the 3 AAA batteries it came with. We are very pleased with our purchase so far!

Fast and easy to use

Really impressed how fast this can read temperature changes, at 2 seconds. The app works generally well, always connected, and re syncing all the data takes about 10 seconds with my Pixel 2. The graphs are nicely laid out and easy to use. My only complaint it to have developer change the format to AM/PM, instead of 24 hour time. As you can see in my photos, i'm using a cheap amazon cell phone stand I had laying around. Much better for accurate results, as a wall can absorb heat. This helps to generate a more ambient temperature and allows me to move it around for other tests.
