1000A starting current, 2000A peak.
Very nice and useful. However, I have another DBPower jump starter with smaller amperage 300A starting 600A peak. That one comes with more accessories, and have a power outlet charger. This new one has USB charger only. Despite that this is a very useful product if you live in very cold climate and have old car/truck. It'll jump start anything :)

Works as advertised. Ordered 2nd one for other vehicle.
It worked as hoped and we have ordered a second unit for our other vehicle, as we travel to remote areas frequently. The charge quantity lights are a little confusing but not insurmountable. They just don't turn off when you hit the power button after cycling through the flashlight modes.

very solid jump starter
very solid jump starter, in just seconds it started my car,,, also did fully charged my iPhone for 3 times in a row. I have a dash cam in parking mode 24/7 and having a jump starter like this one is a most and peace of mind. 5 stars!!!

It works!!!!!
This jump starter is the absolute best. I use it almost every day either as a jump starter for my fleet or as a backup battery for my electronic devices. I have used it to jump start 3/4 ton trucks, forklifts, atv’s, 1 ton trucks and even a boat engine. It is wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone looking to get a jump starter than is compact and does not take up a lot of space.

Quality feeling unit with nice carry case.
I received this device yesterday. I was impressed with the packaging, the nice case, and the look/feel of the unit. It appears to be sturdy. The instructions were very clear, and the included case was a nice touch. Although other reviewers seemed to have concerns with the clamps, I find that they seems to feel quite sturdy. Although they are plastic, they do seem to be fairly heavy duty. The unit arrived about 75% charged. I charged it overnight, and tested it out this AM. It’s fully charged and appears to be ready to go. Although I haven’t jump started anything yet, I have confidence based on the instructions that it’s operating properly and won’t let me down when I do need it. Overall, my initial impression is that this is a quality unit that will provide me service for years to come. I did contact their customer service regarding warranty registration. The representative was courteous and efficient at resolving the issue. Based on this interaction, I feel confident that they will take care of any issues should they arise.

Good quality and high capacity.
Bought a 2014 car in 2017, battery died and had to get a new one. I bought this after the fact since the portable jumpstarted I had didnt work very well for my new car and drained completely after 1 jump. My old car was a 92 Pontiac Bonneville. So I haven't had a need to use this as a jump starter yet so no way to test that part out. Works well for charging a phone or other usb devices. Like most portable chargers with flashlights on them, the light isn't very bright. A lot of people keep a decent flashlight in their cars for emergencies anyway so that's not a big deal. The light would definitely do well enough if you need it though. I just wouldnt use it for anything more than seeing what you're doing when you need a jump. It came about 50% charged maybe a little more but took a long time to charge and ended up letting it charge over night. That isn't a bad thing though. It's just a very large capacity battery. I have a 15,000 mah protable charger just for usb devices that takes a long time as well so its understandable. The only complaint I have is that it uses USB C to charge. While I know so many tech people are saying USB C is great and better than micro USB, most people dont have phones or devices that use USB C, and probably still have at minimum 5 micro USB cables in their homes. Most of the things I own are micro or mini USB. Though I know USB C is the next upcoming thing and more and more devices are going to have it. It does however come with a 12 inch USB C, but that might be too short for most people since most people will probably put this on a table while charging which will be too far away from an outlet which in most homes is close to the floor. Does not come with a charger. Just the USB C cable. So you can use any usb charger for a phone or tablet. I wouldnt suggest using one that came with most cheaper phones since they are usually 1 amp. Will take way too long to charge with one like that. You will want 2 amps or higher. Most chargers that support quick charging would be just fine. I think iPhone/ipad chargers have a higher output for some of the models. I'm not completely sure about that though since I've never owned an apple product. The jump starter also comes with a good quality hard case. It is a little bulky though, but it's to fit the clamps and any usb cables you need as well as the jump starter. There is a flap in the case that separates the starter form the pouch on top that holds the clamps. That flap has a whole list of info telling you how much of a charge you will need to jump start different capacities of batteries along with engine size. So you will be able to know for each vehicle if you need to charge the starter before a jump. It's a good idea to keep it charged though and top it off every few months (for the people that have never used one of these before) If I ever need to use this as a jump starter then I will update my review on that aspect of it.

Wow. you need this
I havent gotten to jump anything yet, but wow this thing looks like it will do the job. I've had other but none this heavy duty. After many great reviews I decided it was well worth the few extra $s since my mini max stopped jumping cars. I plugged up a battery I had laying around and it instantly read 14.2 volts. Love that feature, never seen it before. I'll be using this jump box many times in the future. Update: I've used this multiple times from pickups to cars and it works great every time. I have the 2000A and its jumped 4 vehicles in a row on 1 charge. excellent product

Reliable, quick jump starts
My work issued vehicle doesn't seem to stay charged well if not run every day (even though shops have said there's nothing wrong with the alternator nor battery). This little jumper box is a life saver; I've used it several times where I didn't have another vehicle I could use to jump. Plus a jump box is safer than using another car. I'm going to buy some for my family to each keep in their cars.

Polar cold battery challenge against the DBPower 2000A
In early January 2019, we read about the Polar Vortex collapse, and weather predictions of extreme cold in northeastern US. Since last year we experienced my girlfriend's car having difficulty starting in very cold temperatures, we ordered the Jump Starter 2000A (G16). It was a little more costly than others, but I had some Christmas Amazon giftcards . . . The unit arrived in 3 days, (free shipping-Prime!) and I charged it up using my 5V charger (overnight). The price includes a nice carrying case (zippered) and it has a built-in LED light and USP-slots for charging phones/etc. I took it to my girlfriend's home, and showed her how to use it, charge it, and set it up inside. Last night, the temp fell to 6-deg-F, and she went out this morning, hooked the "Jump Starter" up (used the built-in light), and the battery had plenty of strength to start her car (first try, no struggle). She put it away in its carrying case, and it still has a lot of charge left, in case she needs it for her commute back home. So far, so very good! The unit worked, was easy to set up, had a useful manual, and fits nicely in the glovebox (inside its carrying case). We are very happy with the unit, and are confident that we can deal with cold mornings this winter. We would buy this again, and know that it has sufficient amperage for starting our Honda. It was worth the money, and is a good investment for dealing with extremely cold battery startups.

It is quite resistant to falls and robust is well made and works for many teams
It works for several charges to my iPhone 8, it is also quite fast, it gives a full charge in 40 minutes
