A great solution for your little one's daycare sleep time...

While we were in the process of enrolling our son into daycare, they showed us this product and told us that we needed to get one for his use during naptime on their cot. We went with their suggestion, selected a style and placed our order. The fabric on the Olive Kids Wild Animals Nap Mat isn't very soft, but it isn't course. The amount of filling could be compared to a light sleeping bag, which is fine if the sleeping environment isn't terribly cold. There is a small pillow that can be removed and is enough for a child to sleep on. We have owned our nap mat for almost 2 years and has had at least 3 days a week of use. It has been washed since owning it and it has held up well (see associated pictures taken after a recent wash). When we initially received the order, we took it out of the packaging, gave it a once over and placed it down on the floor for our little one to check out. We did lay him down on it and covered him, which he quickly got out of it, stood up, looked it over and checked it out. He did spend a couple of hours over a day or two getting familiarized with the nap mat before we took it to daycare the first time, as we wanted to make him feel that he had something from home for naptime. Based on what we found out when we picked him up after his first day, he had no problem going down for his nap and easily went into his nap mat. If you're looking for some form of frequently used sleeping solution for your little one, that can be easily stored, then this Olive Kids Nap Mat is definitely a good solution. Love this mat

Love this mat! I had originally purchased the classic plastic nap map for my 15 month old son to use at Daycare for nap-time. He seemed a little uncomfortable on the plastic mat and it was a pain having to bring that + pillow + blanket in and out every week. I decided to go ahead and purchase this mat to replace it and I'm so glad I did! Pillow, mat, and blanket all in one makes it easy to lug around as you can roll it up and carry it on your back. Easy to wash as it's all in one and so far 5 washes in and it's still holding up like new, also a very cute design. Glad I made the upgrade!

Great item to use at daycare

Exactly what I was looking for. Since school is out and summer vacay started, I had to get something for my son to use during nap time at daycare. Just like how its advertised. My son is absolutely in love with it. The colors are awesome and he personally wanted robots so this was a perfect purchase!

Comfy! Nice quality!

Really nice. It has a strap so my son can carry it at preschool, and Velcro straps to roll it back up again. I chose this nap mat because cheaper ones reportedly started unraveling when washed. The pillow is built in, like a sleeping bag so there is no worry of it coming off. Most importantly, this is COMFY! I had my son try it out when we got it, and if I were small enough I would have tried it out myself! I think I will probably scotchguard it on the bottom just to make sure it stays nice. With things like this, I usually wash on delicate to make sure the stuffing doesn’t get lumpy.

I love that the pillow is detachable or easy wash

I searched for quite a while between boutiques, standard stores such as Walmart/Target/Academy, and online stores for a quality napmat that was affordable. The price ranged greatly and the quality ranged greatly. I finally found this napmat and am very happy I chose to purchase this particular one. 1) Quality: The cushion is thick enough for my 2 year old son to comfortably sleep on the hard floor in his daycare. He never complained. The pillow is a little bit thicker for that extra support for his head. I've washed this every week to every other week and it's been a year later and it still looks and feels like new. In fact, it's broken in so its more comfty and soft even! 2) Cleaniness: I am able to easily remove the pillow if I want to and throw the napmat into the washer and dryer. Lastly, 3) Convenience: It is very lightweight with a shoulder strap to throw on your shoulder and keep hands free. It rolls up small easily and has velcros to secure the ends while transporting. I bought this at a great price and for less than other subpar napmats I've come across elsewhere. My 3yo naps on this daily at daycare. I will be buying another for my now almost 2yo daughter.

Perfect kindergarten nap mat!

Our kindergarten nap area is on the hard floor, and this is one of the few nap mats that have a decent amount of padding and a built in pillow. My kid can has no problem unrolling and rolling the mat, or carrying it to and from class. He brings it home every Friday to get it washed, and other than fading a bit (due to being hung to dry), this mat has been holding up great. I've looked at lots of other mats around the same price, and almost all of them do not have as much padding as this one does, or does not come with a pillow or blanket. I think for the price point, this mat is the best deal out there.

We love it !

Our 4 year old loves this ! he cried when he had to leave it it at school. Could be a little thicker but i think what it lacks in padding makes up for in comfort with the small pillow, portability, and blanket. This folds effortlessly back to its original state and is ready for the next day. I looked all around for a so called "kinder mat" although they seemed inconvenient, non portable, and needed its own blanket, pillow, etc. The ONLY draw back i can see from this is that it may have to come home for a wash every now and than... but its a delicate enough piece to toss in the washer on gentle and tumble dry. Great product and good value in our book. 5/5

Perfect adorable nap mat

Adorable nap mat. My 2.5 year old is 37 inches and fits perfectly and naps very well at daycare on this at. My child loves the zoo print and also loves that she can carry it in to school herself by the carry handle! For reference she uses it on a cot and it is plenty fluffy and comfy. It washes well when following the instructions. I remove the pillow, use delicate cycle wash, and low heat in the dryer and it comes out good as new. I would say that you may want something more substantial if your daycare doesn't provide a cot and nap time is on a hard cold floor.

My son absolutely loves this sleeping bad! The print is so adorable and the colors are bright and beautiful. He wanted to unroll it and climb into it as soon as we took it out of the box. I got this for my 4 year old son to take on an 8 hour flight. I wanted him to have something cozy and that he could carry himself so he could feel like a big boy walking through the airport with his luggage. And then for nap time at pre-school,after the flight. The fabric for the outer part of the blanket and the padded portion are not soft, They feel kind of like a L.L.Bean backpack which probably makes it stain and water resistant, I wouldn't like the feeling on my bare skin, but my son doesn't seem to mind. The inside of the blanket it very soft, it almost feels like the inside of a pair of new sweat pants. The pillow very padded and comfy and the padding for the child to lay on is also well padded.

Affordable & exactly what I needed.

I love this rest mat. It's exactly as described, and met my budget. My son in kindergarten had previously been using one that was just so so basic, nothing but that red and blue mat. I didn't know much about these, and the basic mat was an example I was shown during kindergarten registration. My son told me about his friends having a blanket and a pillow on theirs. I didn't want him to be all uncomfortable on that awful mat I originally got him. I searched for restmats and came across this one. It is exactly what I needed , nothing more or less. I chose the least priced design, which I appreciate having that option. It's perfect. My son can properly roll it up with the velcros and carry it with the strap. I am very happy with this rest mat, and recommend it to anyone looking to buy a nap mat/rest mat .
