Great Mat!

I purchased this blocking mat for an afghan I am making for Christmas. I thought if I blocked the squares it would be easier to sew them together. I purchased this mat because it looked like it was good quality, the foam blocks looked like they wouldn't last very long. I was correct, it is good quality and it looks great! I absolutely love this mat! I leave the squares on the mat overnight and they are blocked perfectly when I take them off. The mat comes with 2" pins. I am using 4" pins per the attached picture. These pins were purchased separately. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love it. The pegs where a bit tight to get in the holes. I love it. The felt on the bottom makes it stay in place better.

Perfect for Granny Squares

This is so convenient to block granny squares. It can hold 4 or 5 squares on the pegs. The pegs can be re-arranged to accommodate a variety of shapes, up to 12" on a side. I am very pleased with it.

Where has this been all my life??

I have no idea why I didnt invest in a blocking board sooner. I had seen YouTube videos for board by Chetnanigans, but they are WAY out of my price range. I found this one and could not beat the price. I've only had it for a few days but it is already making a HUGE difference in the quality of my crocheted granny squares. I've included a couple of pictures with my review. I apologize that my yarn is black but it is the color I'm working with at the moment and I'm not going to break out a different color just to write a review. But you can still clearly see the difference in the "before" and "after" squares. The before square is curling and not laying flat as compared to the after square. My ONLY issue is with the pins that come with the board. They're too short! I can only block a max of 6 squares at a time with these pins. So, I contacted Yarn Mania on their Facebook page to see if they sell longer pins. I received a reply in less than an hour from Emma on their customer care team. They DO have longer pins. Unfortunately they wont be in stock until mid December, but they'll be sending me 50 of them as soon as they come in for FREE! Wonderful, quick customer service. Amazing product. What more could you ask for?!

Great Quality!

Love this blocking board! It's perfect for larger afghan squares and smaller granny squares. The pegs fit very snuggly so you don't have to replace them when taking squares on and off.

Stong and has a felt bottom.

I have needed one of these for a long time. This a perfect size for me. I love the fact is wood and has a felt backing, so it stays put. I would recommend this for any crocheters and Knitters. Seems sturdy and of good quality. Came on time with no packing issues.

Perfect Item

Bought this item for my mother as a Christmas gift. She simply loved it. I had seen another item like this on Etsy but the pins were made of wood. I liked that these were made out of metal. Seemed more durable and would last longer.
