These are great for adding to your mulch
I've used another brand for over six years that looks almost exactly like this one, makes you wonder if it's the same one under a different brand. But they work great mainly for sticks and limbs one inch or less although you can work a larger piece through. These are great when you are trimming trees and bushes, they can take a huge pile like 5 by 10 feet and turn it into a small 2 x 2 pile of colorful mulch. The way they work is there are two blades about three inches long each that rotate at a high RPM which work the piece of wood against an aluminum plate. The blades are double sided so you can flip them as they dull with use and you can resharpen them. While you can mulch leaves green leaves and green limbs about a quarter inch or smaller tend to build up and clog it. You have to unscrew a long bolt to get inside to clear it. There is a reset button to prevent overheating. In fact, I generally just use my mower for leaves. These are very loud. You will need ear protection and your neighbors will notice you are out working... These are louder than chainsaws even though this is electric. The main case is plastic but this one is a lot thicker than my old one although I never had a problem with that. Overall, these are relatively inexpensive to cut your trimmings down to a small pile and give you something good to use in your garden.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I'm not good at stuff like this but, firs off, it was easy -- even for me -- to get running. And, mainly, I just assumed that somehow I'd be disappointed. I had a huge amount of dead 20-foot bamboo I figured Id have t pay some service a whole lot to cart away or wood-chip. But for $125, why not give this a try? Guess what? It's proved to be fun, safe, and -- all the bamboo is gone! Yes, it takes a little time to sense when it needs a rest or the hopper needs to be cleared out. There's a fuse on the machine that pops out when it needs a rest; and sometimes it blows the fuse in my house because dry bamboo is very wood and the thicker ones can blow the fuse if you push too hard. (Green-ish, recently-cut bamboo runs thru the machine like butter). But I just go into the house, flip the circuit breaker back, and off we go. The little "plunger" that comes with it should have a rough, not a smooth, bottom, to better grab the tops of the sticks. But that tiny, tiny nit is about the only thing I can think of to improve this little work horse.

So far so good.
If a branch is less than 1.5 inches this thing will eat it up!

Great little macine for general yardwork.
Very easy to use for cleaning up branches in yard. Will handle branches up to 1 inch with no problem. Mulch is very nice looking.

This machine is a beast!
I have two LARGE willow trees in my back yard. This shredder takes anything I can fit into it. Some have stated that it doesn’t do well with green wood but that is far from my experience. Ive now run thousands of branches through this thing and it still works line new.

Works as said for me
I've been feeding it a willow and haven't had any problems.

Good product for yard work
Delivery was quick and this wood chipper works very well. It work well on the small limbs and easily chips limbs 1 inch thick.

Works Well for its size
I knew when I purchased this I was not getting a Fargo type industrial wood chipper. It works well for smaller branches. I don't think I have ever put one as large as their advertised maximum diameter yet and am not confident it would take it. I am a little disappointed that it does not pull the branches in at all but seems to require constant pushing. It also runs thinner branches straight through without chopping much or at all. Not a big deal. I purchased it with the intent of using larger branches for the chimenea and grinding the smaller ones and it works decently for this. We will see if it can hold up as I have only used it twice to date. Use dry branches.
