Smartphone pocket included

No idea why they don't mention it in the description (at least I didn't see it), but these shorts have a smartphone pocket. It's in an extremely natural and discreet location too. Fits my Galaxy S9+ fine. When I wear other shorts I reach to put my phone in that pocket because I'm so used to it now. I really hope this becomes a thing. Beyond the pocket, the shorts fit fine. It's Dockers.

I bought a bunch of short pants for the summer and the pants by Dockers are clearly the best. They have each size, that is they don't skip sizes like other manufacturers do. All those other pants do not fit. Either too loose or too tight because they don't come in the exact size. Maybe that's okay for most people but I do not like it. Plus Dockers is good fabric, good cut, deep pockets, good zipper, no messing around with dangling straps. No goofy belts or closures. They are very good all-purpose sensible pants.

Styling and fit for adults.

This was my sixth pair of these shorts. Quality is top notch. Fit is right on the money. Available colors are many, although some sell out faster than others. Styling/length/room are perfect for a typical middle-aged adult. My only issue is the size of the cell phone pocket. My iPhone SE gets lost in it and sometimes turns sideways, making it difficult to retrieve. The pocket seems about twice as wide as it used to be from the old pairs I had from about 3 or 4 years ago. You could almost put an iPad in the new cell phone pockets. I may have to have the pockets shrunk by a little sewing machine magic.

NO ROLL FOR A BUDDHA BELLY

My husband has, like many men, a "Buddha belly"; and pants and shorts often roll at the top underneath his protruding tummy. These shorts, however, look really good on him and fit really well. Best of all, the waistband does not roll over. The fabric is also tough enough to withstand his 'bull in a china shop' activities. I will definitely purchase this brand and style for him again!

Wish they were longer, but they're exactly as described.

These look and fit just like the first image. They are just above the knee, and size 34 was true to size. The shorts are as advertised - the material is nice, and does not look like 'cut off dress pants'. They would be BETTER if they were just a tad longer, but I can't hold that against them as they are just like the photos. I have to get over it. I'll keep them and I'm sure I will get used to it,

Great pair of shorts

Great pair of shorts. I'm 5' 7" and 150 lb and wear a 29". The fit is perfect. The length is just right, riding just above the kneecaps. The pockets are deep and will hold large phones. The smartphone pocket works well for both a phone or a wallet. The material is soft and comfy. It's pretty sturdy. Overall, I love these so much I've gotten another pair.

Comfortable and Fit Nicely

Very comfortable material and the shorts are sewn nicely so that from waist to cuff there is a natural flow. The shorts do not droop "where you don't want them to" and feel like Dockers should with ample, but not too much, room in the leg. Yes, you can sit down in these shorts and not feel like the legs are riding up.

Great, durable pair of shorts

I gotta say I love these shorts. I wear them from spring to fall in the last two years. They're a little thicker on material but it's fine in most cases except sitting for long periods. These are pretty great on a bicycle. Especially handy is the phone pocket, having a pocket secured for a phone is great on a bike. Was so great i bought another pair in a different color.

Very Nice Shorts

These are very nice shorts, especially if you watch the Amazon price fluctuations and get them when it has lowered a bit. They fit me very well, are just the right length and look great. I normally wear size 36 but sometimes 34 on pants that tend to run big. These fit like 36 should but I wouldn't want them any tighter. Dockers seems to have held the line on sizing instead making their pants larger to try to keep up with the ever increasing girth of the population as a whole like some manufacturers have done. If you are on the edge between sizes it might be best to go with the larger size. Construction seems to be good as with most Docker products I have. By far my favorite feature is the smart phone pocket. My Xs Max in a Speck CandyShell Grip case fits perfectly. No more having to stuff the phone in my front pocket with all the other keys and change. Brilliant! I like them so much I am going to order another pair in gray.

Perfect fit shorts

These shorts were exactly what I was looking for. They are more fitted than some shorts but fit really well. They look great when out on the boat or even going to dinner. The material feels high quality and they are quite soft for shorts. There is an extra pocket on the right side that is located right behind the normal pocket. It goes straight down and fits my phone perfectly. It frees up my pocket and it somehow makes it feel like you're not even carrying a phone. The position of it is perfect. I'm 6'1, 32 in waist and the inseam is perfect. There is nothing about them that I am not satisfied with. Very versatile shorts for summer.
