Very good! Hearty bean.

Made these today in the pressure cooker (Instant Pot). They are yummy! Soaked overnight in water (12 hrs) with a strip of Kombu (it’s a seaweed that helps to soften the beans...and you can cook them with this in them as well). They came out perfect. Tasty. Full bodied and wonderful.

Cook well, Taste great. Very little broken ones and no bad ones that I have seen yet. I really love this brand. I never got their beans before but this will be the first of many. I have gotten their 6# bag of pecans, and cashews. Never a bad bag of anything yet.

10#s of beans, hmmm

How can you go wrong with 10#s of black beans? I'm a black bean brownie junkie, not that I need 10#'s of beans to make brownies but if you need to they can be used for other recipes also, I guess. But seriously this is a great price on organic and with 10#'s the bag last a while. Being a barging bottom line shopper I end up with a lot of bulk iteams. The price was so good I couldn't afford not to purchase them.

Best value on Amazon for dry organic black beans

As of right now, these are the best value on Amazon for dried, organic black beans. I soaked almost an entire bag overnight & pressure canned them the next day. I was supposed to "pick off any foreign matter" but there was none, so I got to skip that step. Score!

I'm very happy with these beans

I'm very happy with these beans. They're organic and don't cause me to have abdominal pain like non-organic beans which are drenched in glyphosate just prior to harvest. These beans are organic and I've had no issues with them and am on my second 5 pound bag. I will continue to purchase this product in the future.

Yummy black beans!

These are beautiful black beans. They are small and cook up nice and soft. They are also very clean. This is the 2nd time we've ordered and we will continue to buy them. Thank you for providing such a beautiful food product.

I received these beans and was utterly delighted. They look better than any beans I could have purchased in a regular grocery store and far better than any other bulk beans I've bought before. The are plump, well-dried, and a lovely dark shade of black. Since I store my bulk products in smaller containers for ease of access I had the chance to shift through the entire bag and didn't find a single rock or icky bean. Definitely will be purchasing from Food to Live again.

5lbs of beans at a time. He's off at school and fending for himself in the food dept. Beans and rice are his staple foods with some fish tossed in. This bad lasts him a while with the rice I buy. He's a happy guy and not hungry. ;)

Delicious organic black beans!

I cook them in my instant pot without pre soaking, using a bit of salt, some garlic, and a variety of chili pepper spices and they come out perfectly every time. The 3lb bag goes quickly in our home so I'm back for more.

Very bad product !! So disappointed!!

I already tried to cook them for different length of times and nothing works. They are still hard and they don’t taste good. I tried soaking them for 12 hours, 24 hrs, and nothing. Seller should return the money for this product bc it’s not what they are advertising and it’s not edible. Won’t buy or recommend again.
