Very happy with my new wool mat

I bought this mat for 2 reasons. One to use on a table in my screen room while wintering in Florida. The second was to use on top of my ironing board when I am back home. So far it has worked out great. I store it under my cutting mat in the RV when not in use. I turn the mat in any direction that suits what I am currently ironing. I can use a large table to support full size quilt and just have the pad under the area, I want to press. Much easier then trying to manipulate a quilt on an ironing board.

I’ve only had this pressing mat two days but am already singing its’ praises! I’m making a quilt using drunkards path blocks and some of the fabric wrinkles vey badly. The blocks are difficult to press because they are easily distorted but am delighted to find if I spritz them very lightly with water and press, NOT IRON, on the wool mat the wrinkles come out wondrously well! Am so glad I invested in this great pressing mat...it’s worth every penny, believe me!

Product works beautifully! I keep on it on my sewing table to iron small pieces of applique for quilting, this saves time and keep me from running to the larger Ironing board on the other side of the room.

This is such a great pressing mat

This is such a great pressing mat! I bought the 9" x 9" mat for my quilters retreat, and it was perfect. Lightweight and easy to carry. I'm going to buy a 17" x 17" for my home studio as well. The mat works wonders for pressing blocks! The price is great compared to others on the market, and the wool also is very smooth. All my friends wanted one after trying mine!

So Convenient and lets me use my limited space efficiently.

I was hesitant to make this purchase but so glad I did. I now have a dual duty workstation that is so convenient and easy to use. This is my first time to experience the wool ironing mat and I love it. I set the ironing mat on top of my cutting mat and am able to turn and iron as I sew. My work goes faster and is more accurate.

It really makes a difference!

After reading other reviews about how helpful this product was with ironing quilt seams I decided to give it a try. It completely lived up to my expectations. It is like ironing both sides at once. The surface is smooth, so no odd patterns show up. The 17x17 size is very portable. It was a great investment! I use it for quilting. It arrived well packaged and very quickly.

A Terrific Pressing Mat

I purchased this mat with some skepticism, thinking it might be another quilting fad gizmo that may or may not live up to the hype. I did research online options, found this one to be the best value for size and price out there. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality of the felted wool and the smoothness of the surface. After using it a few times, I am even more impressed. Enough so that I am looking to purchase another one, in a smaller size, to have right at my side when I am piecing quilt blocks. I use the large one on my big ironing board and find it really great for pressing pieced borders, large blocks (>12"), and machine embroideries. I am in love with this mat!

Impressive results

I was skeptical about this wool pressing mat but now I'm a believer. My quilt blocks would not press flat no matter how hot my iron. I'm so impressed with this wool pressing mat. My blocks are flatter than ever without such a hot iron. I don't know why I waited so long. Thank you!

Great Product

I've considered getting one of these for quite some time. While not inexpensive, it is definitely worth the money. Nice pressing surface, holds the heat and if you're a quilter, you'll be impressed with how flat you can get your blocks. Great product.
