I purchased a 1500 watt Yehsence light first week of December. I was so impressed with it's performance I purchased 2 more this week. I grow orchids and succulents and now Marijuana for CBD oil. Although it's only been 4 months my seedlings have grown amazingly fast. The Marijuana is in the bloom stage so I also picked up a Vivosun tent. I have 2 other plants in my orchidarium in vegitative state and they can continue to get bigger, then move to the tent and bloom. At any rate I wanted to leave feed back and let people know these lights are great for growing anything!

First of all, this is my 2nd light from this company, I ordered a 1000 watt light for my 2x4 grow tent about 3 months ago. I attached a pic to this review as to show the results on that purchase. That 1000 watt light outperformed any HPS set up I've ever seen and it's a 1/4 of the cost, 100% worth itself in gold. Now moving on to the present day, I just got an 8x4 tent and I'm putting this black gem at the top of it 1500 watt equivalent with almost no heat to worry about - no brainer. Buy one and watch the results.

I've been waiting to do this review until I switched to the bloom cycle to see how it would perform in all modes. I was a little skeptical when I first got this light since it's a pretty small. This was my first indoor grow and to me lighting is the number one factor when you want to imitate Mother Nature. But based on the reviews and this model having the third chip I decided it was a good fit and I have not looked back. So far it has performed very well for me in a 4x8 foot custom grow room/tent. I should say "they" have performed very well for me since I have purchased three in total. I had all three going when the tent was only 4x6 and it got a bit warm when I switched them to bloom mode, so I moved it down to just two and it worked well. Once I moved to 4x8 I went back to all three lights and everything is groovy. It is super bright, which I know is not really a good indicator of light intensity but I have no means of measuring PAR levels right now. What I do know is the plants are growing great and exhibiting no signs of insufficient lighting. There is dense growth well inside of the plant too so the penetration is very good. I have seen plants under HPS lights with a lot less dense growth. The plants are green and dense all the way to the edges of the grow space. I have flat white walls on two sides with a 95% reflective fabric making up the other two walls and floor. The plants are now about three feet tall and and I have the lights about 24 inches above the canopy and the light penetrates down through with no issues. Money was not really an issue for me so I opted for the 1500 Watt figuring the more the better and also after getting some feedback from a few reviewers and the manufacturer too. Although at this price it was the only 3 chip LED model out there and I wanted the third chip. The technology makes good sense to me. Switching from grow to bloom is very easy with the two toggles and the different light spectrum produced look intense. The fact they can be daisy chained is real nice too. I installed a dedicated 20 amp circuit and have a 1700W timer which handles the three light load well including two fans. The cables and pulley system are of very good quality too so what comes with the light makes it a pretty complete package. Oh and the packaging they come in is excellent and worth keeping for future storage. I suspect I will be very happy at harvest time. I plan to purchase a fourth light because I anticipate having to expand the room one more time....which would not be the case if the lights were not performing well. I highly recommend these lights for any serious indoor growers. Worth every dime. Update 2/12/19: I recently purchased two more of these lights in the 1000w size. Actually one from another manufacturer as it was less expensive, but the exact same light just with a different brand. In total I have three 1500W and two 1000W on one 20 AMP dedicated circuit on a timer rated at 1725W. I can even add two more of the 1000W and still be under the 1725W rating on the timer and certainly within a safe draw on the 120V 20A circuit. It ends up the small form factor works out well for me in my grow tent which is about 5x12. I still have room for two more plants and plan to expand on the next grow leaving an isle between then plants to help facilitate watering and caring for my ladies. So that makes the small form factor work well for my setup. A larger square light would limit me to growing the plants in a box setup making it harder to do maintenance. So in the end these lights are working out perfectly. It does require good canopy care to ensure they penetrate well and can be as close as possible to the plants, but that's part of the process. Still very happy with these lights and see no reason to change. The layout of your grow room is a consideration so plan that out and pick a light style that is appropriate for the shape of the room. These lights will not disappoint in my opinion.

LEDs have become a fast growing technology, and prices have come down a lot since this type of product first began to compete with HPS/MH lamps for small grow spaces. As such, these lights are priced very reasonably. I'm a mechanical engineer in the US for a company that develops light technology, so from the start I was interested to examine these lights in detail. Following are my findings which were based on non-destructive testing methods: Summary: I highly recommend these lights to anyone seeking an affordable option for quality LED grow light modules. They are bright, draw little current, and maintain a healthy temperature for long LED lifespan. The lights are easy to set up and operate, taking just minutes to go from box to grow space. Lights were packaged extremely well and likely can stand up to significant shocks during shipment. Design: The design is robust and simple, having only 1 type of moving part, 3 cooling fans. These fans direct air downward across a drilled aluminum plate to which the tri-LEDs are directly mounted for efficient cooling. This cooling of the LEDs is directly related to their lifespan. The LEDs are driven by 4 separate constant current diode drivers which have built in protection for open circuits and short circuits. These are naturally fed through two switches (veg, bloom) for separation of the two wavelength groups. The fans are tied parallel into the switches so either light mode activates 100% cooling. There is a protective plastic sheet that mounts between the LED plate and lower portion of the sheet metal housing to prevent objects from contacting the LEDs directly. All wires were soldered, protected with heat shrink tubing, and zip-tied as necessary to keep everything neat and secure. The system utilizes a standard DTOL power cord and incorporates a daisy chain feature to connect these lights in parallel. The receptacle component of the daisy chain feature accepts plugs from all types of international standards as the lights themselves operate in the 100-250VAC range. Thermal management: Chip-on-board The aluminum LED mounting board heat sink was measured by a thermocouple and digital multimeter near the LED junction. Starting at 18C while off, the temperature was observed to climb to 35C over two minutes of full power operation. The temperature then peaked at 41C and remained constant while circulating air in vented grow space. Light output: I've not tested it yet, but these lights are intense! Plants love them! Warranty: I had a problem with one of the fans humming loudly and then clicking on startup. The company was happy to send me replacement parts when requested. I had initiated fan failure most likely by getting a strand of hair in the fan blades. Price 5/5 Design 4.75/5 Component quality 4.5/5 Customer service 5/5 Warranty 5/5 Edit (6/12/19): I just uploaded a graph of light temperature vs time over a 10 minute period. The curve flattened out at about 42C over the next 30 minutes in a 23C grow room. I'd expect this to elevate slightly with more grow lights in a confined space, but with mild ventilation this design is adequate to keep the LED boards cool.

I set 2 of these up in a series for a 4x8 tent and have had great results so far. I transplanted from a seedling area to my main hydroponic setup and they didn’t skip a beat! Usually there is a lag in growth but the spectrum and intensity must have helped out a lot. Furthermore, they run very cool compared the 2-400w HPS I ran before. I checked the brightness and they put out at around 40-50,000 lumens directly beneath them. LEDs don’t necessarily need as high as other broad spectrum lights but I may add one more to disperse coverage a little better. The only con is that the lumens drop significantly unless under an immediate 3’ footprint of the lights. Otherwise I’m very pleased with these!! Please like if you appreciate my review!

Package Arrived on time as usual, When I unboxed it I saw that it was very well packaged,It included the 1000w light with attached power cord,a set of Hanging Kit, a fold out user manual, and a adjustable hanger for the item.I Hang this in my 3*3 Grow Tent. Which was able to see the better results over a Weeks. Power draw was 182 watts, The two Fans not very noise that are equipped with the lamp is able to reduce the hot while its running and not to over heat,so, I don't worry hurt my plants. My plants seem to love it and it is brighter than my other led lights.I need more for the larger plants that I am growing. -Competitors still using 10W diodes but this brand is 15W -The light output is more than good enough for a 3x3 tent -Very well packaged and seems constructed with quality -works perfectly for the Vegetables and Flowers -No plastic. Crazy bright, runs cool -amazing customer service I'm looking forward to other new products from the store.

Update: seller is the best I've ever done business with. After 1 of the 3 lights I ordered had the fan start to get loud. They went back to their team and made an upgraded version of the 1500 Watt LED and it is very, very high quality! The swapped out my light with loud fan for the new version and I couldn't be happier with both versions of their lights! Will be ordering several more. The Veg swotch is very white and blue throws off serious light. Once you flip the bloom switch you better have sunglasses! Seriously the best LED light I've bought, and I have 5 different lights from the Higer $ brands and this beats them all! UPDATE: Seller reached out and is going to send replacement light. Very impressed as I didn't officially reach out. Moving to 3 stars. Will provide additional update once new light is received. Original post: I used the light for a week in veg 18 hours a day and now the fans sound like an indoor skydiving fan. So loud I now will have to remove the light and look for a quick replacement or loose my pepper crop! * I will update if seller fixes my issue.

My plants are thrilled with this. I’m growing orange, lemon and lime trees along with a couple of pineapple plants. I didn’t know how I was going to keep them alive over the winter thi year. They had grown so much over the summer that I could no longer fit them in a window. I hung this light in a corner in my basement. I put it on a timer to run 12 hours a day. My plants are not just getting by, they are thriving,

I just plugged these in about 3 days ago so I'm not sure how long they will last but they are very sturdy with a pretty quiet internal fan. The are REALLY bright. I have a small 8'x12' greenhouse that does not get nearly enough sun (especially in the winter) and these two flood the area. I'll be buying two more i the future. One thing I was VERY pleasantly surprised about was the cords used to raise and lower them. I don't use them as the greenhouse is only 7' tall but I had to buy these separately for other lights and they were only 5 bucks or so but they are included with these. A very thoughtful addition. The daisy chain works great and the power draw is still small enough that I have both of these lights plus two other less efficient LED panels all on the same Smart Life wireless switch and it can handle the power draw to turn off and on automatically. One thing about the daisy chain, the plugs are on the top so I'm not sure how water proof they are. I thought I remember these being indoor/outdoor but I think I'll be covering the female daisy chain with duct tape just to be safe. Also, I would have liked the cords to be just a bit longer but that is just because of my personal situation. They are standard computer cords so I can dig through my supply and use longer ones if I really need to. This is likely the longest review I've written but they are worth it. By the way the only compensation they promised me for this review is to hug a homeless kitten :) :)

The light with VEG / BLOOM Double Switch, I can choose Veg for seedling,This will save even more electricity. Daisy Chained design, I can daisy chain together three light with one socket.Triple-Chips LED more brighter than other brand double or single chips.Complete functions, It's best choose for Professional interior grower.Awesome product worth the price, would definitely recomend!
