Miracle product!
Works great! So glad I found this. You fit your foot into the small whole and it stretches like a rubber band to conform to cast then after leg is inside it wraps up tight protecting cast. I am able to shower without wetting the cast. Best purchase I ever made at such an affordable price. Highly recommend this miracle product.

Withstood Boating!
I don't think I've ever written an Amazon review, but I have to for this product! I absolutely LIVE for summer in Texas, and of course, I broke my foot at the very beginning of the season. I immediately went on the hunt for something I could protect my cast in during pool and lake days, and I luckily found this! I've been in the pool (it floats) and went boating on the lake this weekend- both with a dry leg. I was even able to get off the boat and float around the lake without missing any of the fun thanks to the protector. Very satisfied with this purchase, despite the unfortunate circumstances! :)

Works great
This shield works even better than I had hoped. This is the first time I’ve ever been in a cast, and was worried I wouldn’t feel completely clean until the whole ordeal was over. Having taken a shower this morning I have one less discomfort to deal with. There is no way for water to leak in once I got it on. Highly recommended.

One of the best devices ever
I recently had foot surgery requiring me to be off my foot for 6-10 weeks. I had purchased one other cast cover that would never work as it had a hole in the plastic with no way to get my foot in except the cut the hole bigger and then I would have lost the ability to keep the dressing dry. When this one arrived I tried it with great results. My foot remained dry during my shower. I was able to maneuver it over the dressing and pins on my own. The rubber ring was able to be moved enough to get my foot through it. It then sealed up around my leg for the shower. It is a great product that I would highly recommend. I went to surgical supply places and only found very cheap covers that would last for only one shower if that. I am in the medical profession and think this product definitely tops the list of products. I would highly recommend it. I had hammer toe, bunionectomy and metatarsal repair.

Works like a Charm
I bought this product the day I got home from having foot surgery (and then promptly forgot about it when the painkillers finally kicked in). I was pleasantly surprised to receive this gem just a few days later, which was exactly right before I needed to shower before my post-op appointment. This cast cover works exactly how it should and keeps my cast dry when I shower. It’d be even better if I could submerge this thing since I’m clamoring for a bath to warm me up since I’m living in a polar vortex here in Minnesota. But, I’ll take a hot shower anytime. I made numerous Amazon purchases while on the PKs, and this one was by far the best.

Must-have for covering casts and showering
Wished we had this 3 surgeries ago. Works great and much easier than a garbage bag. With my soft cast, we had to wrap an extra ace bandage around it so as to not mess up the wrap when removing. Would work excellent over a hard cast. My cast is huge and the opening stretches to accommodate it just fine. Cast stays dry.

FIts over walking boot!
This cast cover does a great job keeping my walking boot dry while I am bathing. It is made from a fairly thick sheet of plastic (similar to an outdoor table cloth or sturdy shower curtain). The design is wide in the leg and has extra space at the bottom so you can move your foot. It does form a tight seal above the cast/boot to keep out water, but I didn't find it uncomfortable. The cover is well made and should last for most/all of my time in a cast. I've already used it five times and don't see any signs of wear or damage. The first photo illustrates how easily the cover fits over my walking boot (adult medium) and creates a water-tight seal below the knee. The second photo (taken after a shower) shows that the cover kept my boot totally dry. The third photo demonstrates how I use the cover's plastic ring to hang it up to dry in the shower. NOTE: I was worried the seal/ring wouldn't fit over my walking boot. However, the ring has JUST enough flexibility to fit over the largest part of boot -- the heel section. However, I suggest working the plastic ring slowly over the heel area so you don't accidentally tear the soft, rubber seal.

This little plastic cover has saved me
First of all, I am not keen on writing reviews. I read reviews all the time, just hate writing them. So that should tell you how much I want you to buy this product! haha! My bf tore his achilles and loves taking showers. He's a big pain with his cast. I probably would have kicked him to the curb if I didn't have this...not really, but maybe... The pictures made it look like the part that holds your foot is hard plastic, it's not. It's like a thick vinyl plastic... almost like a pool floatie type material. It's a thick plastic though. It smells terrible like plastic but that goes away after like 2 weeks. It's a big ass boot too. I'm not sure why they did that though because the little hole only lets so much foot in. Now lets talk about that little hole/blue thing at the top. It's got a silicon type material (that's the grey part) and the blue ring is a thick hard plastic. The hole is about the size of a toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll. It obviously stretches out almost as wide as the blue ring but it takes some muscle to do it. I'm not the most athletic person I know but I'm healthy and can almost do 10 push ups... haha The only thing that sucks about it is when he had the temporary cast on (which has ace bandages around it) it moved the ace bandages out of place. If he had a hard cast, we would be golden. It would be a lot easier to pull on and off. Overall, it is really waterproof... and doesn't let water into the cast! I think it will last a long time too. It's actually really high quality for the money.

Made me cry!!!!
I am in love with this waterproof leg cast cover. When I put it on for the first time and took a bath with it, I was so happy I cried. In a time when my independence has been taken away, to have a product like this one so simple to use, it helps me feel some level of independence and not as helpless. I was a little hesitant about buying it because of the very few negative reviews, but I have had an excellent experience. The cover has an excellent seal no water gets in it. I take bath with it since I can’t stand and submerged it in the water without any issues. The plastic is thick and good quality. I’ve been using it for nearly a month and are very satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone who has the need to regain a little of their independence and enjoy showers and baths without worrying about getting water in your cast.

This boot really works - again and again.
When I was anticipating foot surgery, I purchased this boot hoping to make showering easier. It does not disappoint. I have used it over and over for the last six weeks and it does not yet show any wear nor has my bandaging or cast ever been moistened in the slightest. It fit over heavy post-surgical bandaging from toe to mid calf (Though it took two of us to get it on over soft, voluminous bandaging) and then over multiple subsequent casts of the same coverage (which is easily done by myself). I am presently in a pneumatic boot which is huge, so it does not fit the boot but the boot is removable, so I remove the boot and use the cover over my minimal bandaging. The cover looks as good now as it did out of the box. The stretchy gasket has been stretched nearly to the width of the ring it is attached to and yet snugly fits my leg once it is over the cast to complete the seal. While it fits snugly, it is not uncomfortable while I am showering. I had thought I'd be doing well to get by for a few weeks before needing to replace this. Now I believe I will be able to use it for the surgery I will require on my other foot and then pass it on to someone else who might need it. After showering I wipe the outside dry and conveniently hang it on the shower caddy until next time. Whether I'm grabbing a quick shower or indulging in a long, hot shower, I have no worries with this water proof cover. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
