With a little help from my friend

my laptop now sits as it should. Had this for two days and just had to give this a positive review. Barring any unforseen repetitive strain disorders, or ocular maladies, a la "The Jerk", it should serve as an excellent purchase. The idea that I needed to spend money on Amazon came from an article I read online and how laptop stands are better than sliced bread. And yes they are. They force you to sit upright, your neck isn't twisted over your laptop, but rather looking at it at a slight angle. I am much more comfortable using my laptop. The device itself is simple and delightfully constructed. It should last for many years and give good service. I just bought another tonight for my wife. She liked it too. Well, it's not for my wife...she has mine, it's for me.

Just what I wanted

The Nulaxy laptop stand is exactly what I wanted for my 15" laptop. The stand is very sturdy. I can't imagine the metal that it's made of ever breaking or otherwise failing. The adjustable support that allows changing the angle of the laptop is quite "grippy," meaning that when you set the adjustment to what you prefer the angle won't change because of slippage. It has rubber feet that prevent slipping on a table top, as well as protecting the table from scratches. I use it on my very fine oak table without a need for a pad or other protector of the wood. All in all I'm very happy with the stand and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

A simple yet effective solution to wrist/hand pain!

I LOVE this laptop stand! I've been experiencing pain in my wrist and hand every now and then that lasts for days. It always occurs after having been on the laptop for long stretches. I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner to look for an ergonomic stand that would better support proper positioning and hopefully help reduce pain. I'm so glad this is the one I chose, because it's very well made, which is something I truly appreciate these days when it's hard to find quality craftsmanship, no matter the product. And I've not had that dreaded hand/wrist pain since using it! I love that the angle is adjustable, so I can find the height and angle that is right for me. It folds up nicely when not in use. Though the stand is about 9 inches wide, it securely supports my 15 inch laptop. Would definitely recommend! And not just for laptops...I can see many potential uses for this helpful gadget. It'd be great for recipe books, reading, drawing/painting, watching movies on a tablet, etc.

Excellent Laptop Stand with Silicone Protection and Fine Tuned Adjustment

I have tried many laptop stands before and this one stands out for the following reasons. 1. The silicone padding protects the laptop from scratches and lifting it ever so slightly off the stand to provide better air flow are much better than I have seen from other stands. The silicone is also used to hold the stand on the surface you are using. 2. The height adjustment is very good as it allows the stand to be adjusted to many angles and your not locked into a angle or setting provided by many other stands. The hinge is very stiff by design to allow this feature. It may seem like a small feature but allowing the fine adjustment lets you place it perfectly to your preference. 3. I have tried this with a Macbook Pro, Dell 15 XPS, and Alienware 17 R4. All of them fit this stand very well and very sturdy with no movement of the laptop while on the stand. 4. The stand very portable. It folds up almost flat and could be put in your bag or case for easy transfer with you.

Durable and helps distribute heat!

This laptop stand is great because it is made of metal so it helps to distribute the heat coming off of your computer and it also helps to keep the heat off of you since the stand is adjustable. I also like how durable it is so that my laptop doesn’t cause it to fall and the rubber feet on the bottom to help prevent scratches on your table are great. There’s also a strip of rubber to help protect your laptop while it’s on the stand and to help prevent it from scratching your laptop.

Stolen by my wife

I received this Adjustable Multi-Angle Foldable Laptop stand as a gift the other day. I set it up and really liked the solid feel, the great finish, the color and how well it adjusted. You can set it up so that your laptop is at most any reasonable angle. There is absolutely no movement in it while typing, etc. It is solid and extremely well built. The ONLY problem with it was that my wife really like it also, and as the saying goes, "Happy Wife, Happy Life" I ultimately had to give it up to her. So, now I have to buy my own!!! This is a great buy at $30 and well worth every penny.

Great metal stand for the price

This is a very solid, nice laptop stand. Fits a 2015 MacBook Pro perfectly. One of the things I was surprised about was that this was decently heavy and strong - this isn't some cheap aluminum stand. The adjustable part holds very well, and doesn't collapse as easy as some bad stands I've used before. Note - I'd recommend using this on a hard or flat surface only, such as a table. It's not really designed to work in your lap

Fits XPS 13 great

I have the Dell XPS 13 and this laptop stand fits it perfect. Also - if you're debating whether or not you should buy a stand for the first time... YOU SHOULD. I didn't understand what the hype was, but I saw everyone using one and figured they must know something I don't. I finally broke down and bought this one, and it is probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. I use it in two places. The first is while at the office on the desk. It has a comfortable feel, and I enjoy working like this. The other is while Netflixing on the couch at home in the evenings and weekends. I have a laptop tray/stand that pulls up to the sofa, and then I set this on top of that. This is the most amazing setup, and I find myself able to work for hours in the evening without having sore wrists. This stand is very sturdy and comfortable, and doesn't slip around. I plan to buy another for my son to use with his school laptop. It's small enough that it could fit in his school bag, or at least use while he's at home. It's pretty light, and doesn't add much weight to my work bag that I haul around each day. It folds up nice and small so it easily fits in my purse or tote bag.

Awesome Laptop Stand for my Thinkpad Carbon X-1

This is a solid heavy duty but very compact as needed stand. I took it on a trip recently and it fit great in my Tumi bag. So that when I got to the hotel and had to catch up with my work, my keyboard and screen where at optimal angles. It has a very flexible but sturdy hinge in the back that holds the angle and it has all of its' cushioning pads in place at the base and top of the plate to hold it all in place and there is stick rubber where the stand sits on a flat surface. The stand comes in a couple of colors and even though I have a ThinkPad Carbon X-1 in basic Lenovo black, I liked the contrast. This stand is very sturdy so that I can actually type on the laptop while it is on the stand. With the Thinkpad I am able to rest my wrists on the space just under the keyboard and use the classic red dot mouse, the pad and the right and left clickers and the stand doesn't move or rock one bit. Now I see why the item has the weight that it does. The cushioning pads not only provide protection against scratches but they ensure that the laptop is held securely in place. If I want I can also use the stand to allow me to use two screens and the stand elevates my laptop so that I don't have to keep my neck bent down while using it. The screen of my laptop is now fairly level with my second monitor, so this prevents me from having to look up and down to compare data and other information. So far I have really come to love this laptop stand. It is sturdy, of high quality material, and the cost is phenomenal, especially when compared with alternatives. At $24 a unit it came with all that I could expect from a stand. This is the best $25 that I've spent in quite a while. Nulaxy makes some great products so it does not come as a surprise. If you are looking for a solid product for your laptop even if it is not a MAC this will work great and it's portability when folded can be a functional travel companion when working on the road.
