These are high quality curves made from a sturdy thick acrylic. They will be perfect in helping me design and sketch products and knife designs. The circles and ellipses are a quality thin plastic with very accurate markings. Ther circles are very large. Smallest one is a 1 1/4". That's my bad. Saller circles would help me more.

great assortment for a hobbyist

As a student in art and hobbyist love this set. It comes with circle and ellipses stencil. Both have center lines provided and they are accurate. The measurements are in inches. The most cool thing is that they are flexible but sturdy at the same time you can draw cups and stuff. I am going to have to come up with some cool art projects using these. As far as the french curves, they are great. They are thick with the bleeding edge, certainly bigger than what you imagine from the pictures. I already had some french curves but they were different shapes. This set will be a great complimentary set for that. The price is awesome for all these. Certainly recommend it.

exactly what I was looking for

I needed stencils for quilt designs. This set was exactly what I was looking. Not expansive and arrived fast. Great service.

Great for kids

I got it for my friend's elementary class. They do a lot of arts and crafts in class, so this was great for them.

A good set of nice guides

Great french curve kit. Unles you need a huge set or ver specific other curves for some reason, don't over pay. These work great. I needed a new set and these work great. I also like the fact the circle guides are more on the clear side (personal preference) instead of green or yellow.

Fantastic quality drawing tools for low price

I was looking for a drafting/drawing stencil and some french curves for my art work. I priced a few places on ebay, but didn't trust the quality, coming from china. (Bad experience in the past). Hobby Lobby sells the french curves, and each stencil included in this set separately for about a total of $50 or $60. I was pleased that I payed a fraction of that for about $8 and received quality, sturdy, well made products. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if these were the same ones hobby lobby was selling at a ridiculous high price. I'm very pleased with the product and will continue to use Mr. Pen for my drafting/drawing needs.

Love them! Easy to work with!

These stencils are so easy to work with, I have used them to paint shapes over some of my plain furniture and they look amazing now! They have printed measurements on them that helps a lot and there are variety of them so you can have same pattern but different size of shapes!
