These are well made straps, and they're overkill for my intended application but I'll be set if I need to secure something heavy. I bought these for use as cargo control in my wife's pickup truck that's equipped with a bed slide/cargo glide and an ARE truck cap. The snap hooks on each end of each strap solves her recurring problem of the S-hook falling out of the eyebolt in the bed slide before tension can be applied. The 8' length is perfect for a pickup with a cap/topper/shell... it's long enough to secure anything that will physically fit in the bed, but there's not a large amount of excess strap when securing smaller loads. Rhino uses "real" nylon(?) webbing for the straps, not the paper-thin type you see on most ratchet straps. The stitching is well done too, no need to burn off threads to keep them from unraveling. While it wasn't clear to me when I ordered, both the free running end and the ratchet end of each strap has an S-hook with a clip. The soft loops are separate pieces that are made of the same material as the straps. My wife and I are both very pleased with these straps, and the the S-hooks with clips should be mandatory on all straps... the issue of taking the slack out of the strap only to find that the free running end is no longer attached is solved without the use of carabiners or quicklinks! That alone is enough to recommend Rhino straps, the quality of the rest is an additional bonus. These are the ratchet straps you want, but could never find.

Excellent straps! I bought these to temporarily secure a truck camper for the ride home. I was surprised at the quality of both the straps and the ratcheting mechanisms. Handles are large and rubber coated, gearing is positive and smooth, straps are well made and sewed. If you are used to off the rack straps like I am, you are going to love using these. I will certainly by more products from Rhino.

I purchased this 4-pack set of straps to secure our Kawasaki Mule UTV during transport on a flatbed trailer. To start with, the way a product is packed says a lot about the supplier and this set came very well packed in a sturdy cardboard box with a handle - a package that can keep these straps organized for easy storing for a long time in itself. Also in the box, though, was a nice sized cloth storage/carrying bag that will hold the set and will last even longer. The straps themselves are very well made and the 5,208 lb. breaking strength gives just a bit more confidence that your load will stay secure than other straps of similar size offer. I also like the hooks having the clip that insures they stay attached if for any reason a strap should go slack. The set also includes the four soft attachments straps that will allow strap attachment to a wide variety of vehicle frame members without any scratching the paint. All this at a very competitive price. Hard to beat! I would definitely recommend.

I was kind of nervous about moving my Excelsior Henderson Super X. I had been looking for this bike for a while and finally found a used one. Had it sent to the only authorized service center still around where it spent almost a year getting updates and repairs. The bike finally was delivered to me at my work-site warehouse where it spent 3 months because it was winter. Spring is in the air and it was finally time to bring the bike home. I decided to rent a trailer and do the job myself even though I had never transported a motorcycle by myself, never-mind a bike this special to me. I read some reviews about the Rhino Ratchet Tie Downs, bought the set of 4 and headed off to U-Haul to get my trailer not knowing exactly how the move would go. After getting some advise about the proper tie-down locations on my bike for the soft-loops I loaded up the Super X, strapped it down on 4 points careful not to compress the suspension too much. The Rhino straps are super easy to work with, ratcheting is smooth and holds without any worries. I got the bike home, released the tie-downs and was done. I would recommend these to anyone looking to use these for transporting motorcycles for sure. I'm confident they'll come in handing transporting other things as well, but moving a 700 lb. cruiser was no problem...

I am very happy with the RHINO Ratchet Straps. They were easy to assemble. My bike has been tied down for days while I've been commuting to work (in NYC with horrible potholes). I check the straps before each drive, and they have held steady and tight. I bought a "bike in a box" and did the bare minimum assembly until I can get to my shop. I didn't tie to handle bars, because I put them on, and was afraid to trust my tightening; therefore, I tied to the front fork. I love the soft straps that came with the ratchet straps, so that there will be no scratches. Excellent product, and recommend without hesitation! My only complaint is that they used Lasership to ship the straps. That company gave me the run around (saying it was delivered, and left on a porch. I live in an apartment). They finally delivered a week late, after numerous calls. Again, excellent product!

Having just bought a brand new motorcycle, i wanted to see what my options were to update the tie down gear I have since we are fulltimers and have a toy hauler which moves place to place. I was impressed with the specs of this kit and once recieved it (quickly I might add) I looked the kit over and felt I made the right decision. I wont actually put them to the test till the day after xmas but am very impresed with what I see.

Transported a large motorcycle on a trailer 1200 miles each way (99% interstate highway miles). Outbound trip I used straps from Lowe's rated at 1666 lbs load/5000 lbs break strength. One snapped on the way down; fortunately not one of the main load bearing straps but rather a stability strap. Needed something better so these were rated at 5200lbs break, and it was a kit. The ratchets were better than the Lowes. Made the return trip with no issues and the straps were in great shape.

Purchased this set of tie downs based on Amazon and other online reviews and I am very pleased with the quality and ease of use. The tie downs are very well made and are perfect for my primary use for them to tie down an ATV on a trailer. The tie downs provide soft loops as well as the capability to use hooks if needed. So far, the tie downs have held up well and more than adequately secured my ATV. I highly recommend these tie downs.

These straps are heavy duty. The ratchets are clearly well made and well designed. The instructions are clear and easy. There are straps with looped ends that allow you to safely secure motorcycle handlebars without worrying about scratches or damage. The hooks are coated (rubberized?) to protect whatever they are hooked to. And, of course, there's a sturdy storage bag that is plenty big to keep everything in - making it super easy to just throw the bag in your trunk when you know you'll need to use the straps. There are lots of cheaper ratcheted straps, bungee cords and tie-downs (a separate kit) out there but nobody does it better than Rhino. Presumably whatever you are taking the time to secure is important to you, why would you use the cheapest tie-downs you can find?

Great straps! I use them to tie down dirt bikes from a 90, all they way up to a 650. They’ve worked great on a trailer or in the back of the truck. Ratchets work great and haven’t had any issues with them getting stuck or metal bending. I initially ordered the Amazons choice straps that are blue and those bent first time I used them. I’ll gladly get another set when the time comes.
