Everything came in great and we were in LOVE with our echo....but my husband brought it outside for music while he was bbqing and forgot it leading it to getting rained on 😪now she won’t respond ughhhhh...not anybody's fault but ours though 😪 when it came in it worked great though and it did come with a plug!

II am so pleased with Alexa in that I am learning so many new things I never knew before. And, Alexa is also giving me new items and subjects that I want to know and that she has just learned to talk about.

I LOVE THIS THING!!!

I have a dot at home and got one for my office too. I do have a little difficulty getting it to play the correct radio station, but I now have it on there so I just don't change it. That still isn't enough for me to lower my review. I really like it and would recommend it to anyone.

Works great and saved $

Works great. Set it up in the bedroom to control living room and bedroom lamps. Now we speak quietly rather than hollering to the big Alexa in another room. Sound quality is amazing however, sometimes her jokes are still corny!

This isn't new?

Very happy with this purchase. Overall, I've been pleased with the quality of "refurbished" items Amazon offers. Very difficult--or impossible--to tell that it's not a brand-new item. The 3rd gen Echo Dot is no exception. Save $5 by getting this instead of a new one.

Amazing sound

We are using these at our office (small business, a front desk and two offices) to play classical music in the background throughout the day. These refurbished versions work just as well as a brand new one, and we saved a bit of money! We have routines set up throughout the day to keep the music playing, and then we can hide the dots and turn off the mic (for the clients who might worry about Alexa recording their meetings). It's been wonderful!

Sleeping through the night

Every member of my family has one of these in their room for the sole purpose of listening to sleep sounds. We live in a noisy-ish area and this really helps drown out the outside noise. I love being able to just say Alexa set alarm for 6am and play rain sounds...then I'm off to la-la land.

Freaking awesome.

I freaking love this thing and use it daily. Sometimes has a hard time understanding my three year old, especially when there is background noise from the television in the living room. While I don't use the alarm feature, I do listen to my favorite radio station every morning because I can't get reception on a regular radio. I also able to do a weather check every morning to . I use the timer feature often. From time outs to reminders for study breaks. I know that there are skills but we don't use them much. I did buy two smart plugs that are able to be used with it too - I love being able to turn my daughter's sound machine go on and off and being able to control her TV time or more exactly with her TV shows.

Only issue is the color

I ordered the charcoal gray Echo but I received a white one. Not a huge deal although I did want the gray, CS made it right. Other than that, the thing works perfectly. It's loud, it responds and does what you need it to.
