Gallium

Seems OK for the price. It is fun to watch melt in your hand. It will stain your hands a grey/black color.

Lots of fun!

This was very cool. Hours of fun for the kids. Ii gets dirty or oxidized when you play with it but if you melt it and clean the tube before you put it back it's good as new. The syringe works well also.

Great fun for young children!!

This is a very cool product, my daughter just loves doing experiments with it. The only negative thing I can say is that it Does leave a residue on everything it touches. Easily cleaned up with simple soap and water. Very satisfied customer.

Exactly what I expected!

I spend time with different youth groups introducing them to hands-on science. The Gallium (to be used for element demonstrations) did not disappoint. Melts easily in a glass of hot water and can be replaced in the storage vial after use, and reuse, and more resuse.

On time and fun.

I received the product on time and enjoyed it from the start it was a blast for me and my son.

I bought this for my kids who are interested in science. The gallium kit is pretty easy to use, but can be a little messy. It would be fine if you prepped the area to contain the gallium, which we did not do. The clean up is easy, but my son managed to drop some. It makes a dirt like smudge on surfaces, but it wipes off with water and a cloth, at least on a glass table, wood chair, and tile floor. Kids are 11 and 8. They were able to make little clay molds to let the gallium cool.

Would Buy Again

Product is as stated: 100 g of pure Ga. The material was used for chemistry demos for school students as an alternative to Hg, which is toxic.
