I have tissue paper skin on my arms and I walk around looking like I have bleeders under the skin. I also do a lot of gardening and when a branch barely touches my arms there is immediate bleeding under the skin. Don't know what took me so long to buy these gloves but voila no more awful looking arms! Back to having normal looking arms and it's fabulous!

These were exactly what I needed. My hands are a women's large and they fit just right. The cuff came up to my elbow. They breathe because of the leather material they are made from. I do landscaping and was looking for something comfortable to wear when weeding and trimming trees. Excellent product!

I bought these gloves so I could help with the yardwork in my home, and they worked pretty well. I already used them to remove parts of a blackberry bush and to remove huge tree branches.

After reading all the reviews, I wasn't sure how well these would work. I have several bogies in my yard, mostly near my windows to protect against intruders. I also have a lot of other spiky/thorny plants in my yard such as pineapples with razor-sharp spikes along their whole leaves and a nice sharp tip on the end of each leaf, citrus trees with nice sharp spikes on them, and some kind of viney weed that has short sharp thorns all over the vines. I usually end up coming in from weeding looking like my arms were in a blender since my normal leather gloves only protect my hands. These long pruning gloves worked great, though! I was even able to use my forearms to keep bogie branches off myself while I was trimming other branches without getting punctured or scratched. They were reasonably cool, too. When I took them off, I looked at my hands and arms and the only scratch I had was one small scratch on my upper arm where the glove/gauntlet didn't cover. That's a first in my yard! Very glad I got these! I'm a female with small hands, and the medium was slightly big on me, but still very easy to work with and well worth it for the protection it gave.

Bought these and love them and don't have a rose in my garden! I am on anticoagulants so my blood is thin and every scratch or prick above the wrist where usual garden gloves stop brings bruising and bleeding. These are perfect for protecting not just my hands but my lower arms. for all my outside work. I recommend them for anyone in my situation and the bag they store in is an added benefit.

I have wide palms and short fingers so women's large gloves sometimes don't fit. These are great. They are not tight, but not too loose to do my work efficiently, and they protect my arms against rose and blackberry thorns. Very happy with them.

I love these gloves. I had a massive job cleaning up my front yard. I had weeds, thick over growth that I had to cut, clip and dig my way around and through. The leather was soft, it protected my whole forearm from thorns and bad bugs. The finger tips and palm areas had extra padding and they fit my long fingers perfectly. My measurements across my palm were more XS but I have long fingers. Index finger is 3 inches long. My whole hand length : palm to finger tip 7 3/4 inches long. Across my knuckles : 3 1/2 inches. I bought small and they felt comfortable and I had full movement of my fingers to hold my tools. The best pair of work gloves I ever bought myself. Highly recommend these for serious gardeners.

I bought these to prune a small thorny bush and a couple of rose bushes and these kept me from getting stuck. The pigskin is soft yet very durable, but I don't know if I'd want to get them wet. I usually order an XL size so I was a little concerned that all I could get was a large, but they fit just fine.

As an obsessive gardener and since I live in the South, I am out in the garden all year. As I have aged, the slightest prick or bump results in a bruise or worse. These wonderful and comfortable gloves have improved my gardening experience. The pigskin leather allows one to feel what you are doing better than thick rubber gloves or any of the many other types I have tried. The only negative thing I have to say is than when you wash them several times, they dry out and lose their flexibility at the fingers. It would help if the vendor provided instructions on how to keep pigskin happy...and clean...at the same time..

Avid gardener, fits my large size hands as well as my husbands well. Covers up to the forearm well to protect your skin. Strong especially for pruning roses.
