Super upgrade from the standard wooded plank...

I most liked being able to swap the white knob (whose use is recommended for sliding doors) with the brown rubber feet (recommended for use with traditional doors)! Now my 'security bar" looks bad ass!!!

Durable, Easy to assemble and easy to use

These door knob jammers do exactly what they are meant to do. Once you wedge it tight under the door knob, it should have no movement at all. These are very sturdy, durable, easy to assemble and easy to use. Not much to think about. If you want that extra piece of mind, these are it.

Easy to use

My wife and I travel a lot in Mexico. Most hotels there don’t have heavy duty door locks, so this provides additional protection. I’m pretty sure it won’t stop someone who is dead set on breaking in, but they’ll make a heck-of-a-racket doing so, providing us time to react.

Door stopping power 9000

This security door stopper works great. I have not regularly used this product other than for keeping sliding doors from opening. However, I did test the product to see if I could open the door from the other side while the stopper was lodge against the door knob. With mild to moderate force the door did not budge, even with the door knob turned. I did not try kicking the door or use full force so I cannot attest to it's durability against someone using full force. The adjustable frame is easy to adjust and holds steady once snapped in place. I certainly cannot open my sliding doors when this is in place. (Granted that's not going to stop someone from breaking glass to get inside, but if someone wants in bad enough, they will get it) I highly recommend this product if you are looking to keep your doors sealed and want to add a little piece of mind while you rest or go away on a trip.

Works for doors and windows!

I like it for both doors and windows. Sometimes I want to leave window cracked an inch for air but not think about locking and unlocking.

Excellent Front and Sliding Door Bar Baricade

They give you two bars for the price of one with two types of rubber ends. The black are for the front door. And the white are for the Sliding Door. You just put the inner bar into the larger bar, add the black rubber stops for the front door and the white for the sliding door. And then you apply them which takes about 30 seconds or less. And it give you the additional door protection. For the price it's definitely good quality and worth it.

I am very pleased with my purchase. When I went to an open house, they had this security bar on the back door and it made me want to purchase one for my home. I brought the two-pack so I can put one attached to my back door and basement. I am so happy I did!!

Safety is priceless

I am giving these a good rating because of the peace of mind it gave me and my loved one who was living with a person who had shown aggression. When we pulled these out of the box we tried them with one person on the outside of the door trying to get in. They seemed to hold well but then we were not using our full strength. The hope was that it would at least warn you of someone trying to get in and a chance to get out another way or call for help. Thankfully they were never tested in a real situation.

Good value - 2 for one. It was a must have for young college student headed off to first apartment.

Helps Secure Your Sliding Door

I purchased this product after my apartment was broken into and burglarized via our sliding patio door. We placed one rod in the sliding door track to block it from being opened. Having it there makes me feel safer, since it's now much more difficult to jimmy the door open. Even though we have since also installed a monitored alarm system, I like having this product as an additional line of defense for peace of mind. The rod is easy to assemble and adjust to the appropriate length for your door, but also fairly sturdy. If you have a sliding door at your residence, I recommend purchasing this as soon as you move in - don't take a chance! (We thought our apartment was relatively safe since you need a key fob to gain access to the building, but you never know!) Since I was pretty spooked after the burglary, I also would use the second door jammer on my bedroom door at night. Again, just gave me some comfort knowing it would create more obstacles for a potential intruder.
