Easy to use
This was so cut and dry.. so easy to use. Opened the box, dropped the seed starters in the tray, added water, after they were the right size poked a hole and added seeds.. put lid on and done. (basically that easy) Recommended to my friends. Really good price.

It really works!
I love these seed starter kits. They are easy to use with no mess to clean up. Like not dealing with potting soil and pots to start seeds. With the green house effect every one of my Sun flower seeds germinated quickly and grew. Transplanting also very easy and clean.

Worked like as advertised!
I was hesitant about purchasing these, but was pleasantly surprised. I followed the directions and put in a west facing window in my home and all of my seeds germinated. When they had true leaves, I replanted into a 2 inch pot until they were ready to put into my garden.

Really cool ! Very Easy
Very cool concept ! I had plenty of pellets, with some to spare. Comes packaged with 2 per pot - PLENTY ! I recommend only hydrating 1 - 1 1/2 per pot & then make some more if you need it. I'm starting my Begonias indoors. Just planted them. Will update with future results.

Your Seedlings Will Thank You
This is one of my first reviews in a long time, but these things are absolutely worth the review. The product worked extremely well for my purposes and my seedlings never grew as quickly in other mediums (I cut down about 3 days of waiting for taproots thanks to these starters), nor has any other medium been as convenient to use. I also had success with cloning in these starters and once roots were showing all it took was a dusting of Azos, some mycorrhizae, and planting each respective plant into a larger pot.

Better than plastic/ Red solo cups
These are great for growing dro! I’ve currently got 7 seedlings in these pots under a 125W CFL light. They’re thriving, and when it comes time to put these in 5 gallon pots, I can put the whole pot directly into the soil which is nice. Also online I read that these are great for root development, so once again... another positive.

THEY WORK FOR ME.
I have a terrible time getting seeds to start. While I would love to say these starters are the miracle cure for starting seeds, they are not. What these are is great sterile media starter pots that work very well for me. They expand nicely and have worked well to sprout tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, peas, cucumber, hibiscus, sages among others. There are several common mistakes I made in the past that may have helped. Here is my do's and don'ts 1. Do not oversaturate the sprouting media. Use a mister to wet the soil after expanding the pots and as needed to keep them moist. 2. Do not rely on natural light from a window as your light source. The "put in a windowsill" approach rarely works beyond an initial seed "pop." Get a full spectrum grow light and use 14+ hours of light. 3. Do research on your plants. Some seeds need to be scuffed with sand paper (hibiscus). Some seeds need to be hardened by refrigeration or freezing; milkweed germination goes from 20% to 80+% when properly hardened. 4. Do apply heat using a germination heating pad when needed. Hot peppers do well like this. 5. Do fertilize with a MILD fertilizer, I used clonex.

Alternative seed starting media
Wanted to try this instead of rockwool to start seed germination. It works just fine, and additionally fully degradable and without concern of the handling care needed for rock wool. Also easierfor me to use as i just pull one disc as i need. I use the cleaned used yogurt pots(smallest- like activa brand)and poke a drainage hole for the disc to expand and settle in.
