Incredibly powerful, and effective bug zapper. I bought this for our camper, and we loved it so much we bought a second. I have a bigger bug zapper mounted on my deck at home, and it doesn’t get half the bugs that this one gets. Very portable, and I am telling you....if you want to zap mosquitos, this is a MUST have!!!!!

This thing has really dropped the flying bug population. Slightly longer cord would be good, but it's acceptable. Works much much better than a dinky one purchased from a hardware store that has killed maybe 2 flies, while this has gotten over 100 already.

This is a God send! If I turn it on, flies hover to it immediately and get zapped and die. My toddler actually touched it and chuckled a little. No crying. So I dont think it hurts them, although they shouldn't touch it. Kills flies within 1 minute of being turned on.

When I was searching for a bug zapper, I came across this one. There were a few negative comments on this zapper which made me somewhat apprehensive to purchase it.. When I got the zapper, of course I had to check it out. No sooner I hung it up and “ZAP” it went. Since then it’s been heaven sent, I am a very happy lady. After all, who likes mosquitoes in there house? LOVE IT !!!

Oh I'm so glad to find this product. These flys and mosquitos were so annoying to the point where I couldn't work at my home office. This thing kills about 6-7 on average daily..keeping these annoying flys away. I love it

Within 15 minutes of hooking it up, I had a zapped mosquito. Quite possibly the best thing I've ever bought. My only criticism is that it's a bit loud when zapping, but it's the safest thing to use around pets that's still effective, so it's a compromise we're willing to live with and will be buying another one for the patio.

I’ve had gnats that came in some of the potted plants I bought and they will not go away no matter what I do! This thing is loud but it’s so satisfying when I hear the pops, knowing those horrible little things are going to be leaving me alone for good now. I’m sorry gnats, but you left me no choice.

Gnats flying up my nose were driving me crazy while I watched TV! They are too elusive for a tennis-racket-type zapper because they suddenly appear around my face but then just as suddenly seem to disappear; so I bought this inexpensive zapper out of desperation even though I thought that only a few nose kamakasis were "bugging" me. However, the instant I plugged it in I began to hear very satisfying loud "CRACK" sounds accompanied by bright sparks as my tormentors bit the dust. The device has now been running for a just a few hours and it's still zapping away as literally dozens of black invaders are collecting on the catching tray at the bottom. The unit's bright lights are so attractive to them that, even with me sitting just a few feet away, now none of them ever comes close to my face and the lights are so uni-directional just a slight adjustment of the unit's position and the lights don't disturb me; so I can't imagine why I would spend any more than this one costs . Right now, I'm at my computer in another room and even the bugs that used to be attracted to my monitor are no longer around me and can I hear them getting zapped away. Yippee!

Always thought I was a warm-hearted person but, after trying everything to get rid of some pesky flies over the past week and feeling like they were conquering us, I will have to admit it felt great to hear them fry. We have only had it a matter of hours, and most of them are toast!:) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This is a great bug zapper when it zaps them they are zapped The only drawback the electric cord should be about 3 foot longer. I think this zapper would be too noisy for inside a home, I have it mounted outside of our back door the weather and when it zaps it scares our little dogs and people that aren't expecting it.
