High quality

Had this star installed for about 2 months now. I use the touch less car wash about once a week. This star is sealed to the brim and lock tight from water. No problems so far and no error messages. Lots of heads are turning 🥶

This star will guide you...

It may be fancy to some and vain to others but when your Mercedes has this bright star lit up in the evening, it's is much easier recognizable. This illuminated logo is functional, especially when you drive in convoy. And yes it may bring a little pride as well. It says: HERE I AM. To install, you need a good and patient mechanic. On our 2010 model we had to cut out some of the old star's rings which took up a good part of an hour. All in all well worth the challenge. The cost is negligent for the pleasure you'r gaining.

Looks beautiful on my car but I did have to bring it to my audio guy to have it installed. Only cost 80.00 for installation tho

DON'T OVERPAID

I was stunned by the dealer's suggested $600 price tag to have the lighted star installed, and learned that they don't even factory installed it on GLAs. Bought mine and installed it in about 1 hour after watching u-tube video first. Tips: Don't try to open the existing foglight from the front but approach it from the back tire well cover. Either way it's a little tight but totally doable. You could take the tire off for easier access but it would help to have smaller hands. Position the power wire at the top of the star, loosen all top front grill screws to fish the wire to the side that you want to connect. You will need to have foglight on all the time to have the lighted star on. Also, it is a decorative item, not a light so don't expect it to be super visible from a distance. Either way, I saved at least $500 and it looks just as good as the factory made.

All the legs on the Mercedes star are not the same length

Looks great on my glk very easy install but I realize some cars won’t be as easy we just ran the wire along the hood groove to the #4 fuse. For everyone saying that it doesn’t fit symmetrically that’s because you have it in wrong. That was the part of the install that took me the longest. The Mercedes star is not symmetrical, one of the legs is ever so slightly longer than the other two, the longest leg must go on top, then when you click it into place it sits perfectly. I wired mine to the headlights so it only goes on when they do. Now I need to change my headlights to the cool white bulbs so it will look like they are all the same color. A nice little upgrade for your Mercedes.
