Must give this one five stars for the price range it is in the amount of dirt and hair it picks up is incredible. All these it require much emptying of dirt canister. This one is the larger of all that I've seen that are still this maneuverable. Has many adjustments for floor or carpet depth. Lower setting invigorates carpets that are flattened by traffic... I believe I'm even picking up hair from previous owners dog. And works awesome on my tile ....Nice :-)

Great value for the price

I reluctantly replaced our 20 year old Dyson with this Bissell and were happily surprised that it is at least as good if not better than the Dyson at less than half the price. Easy to use and does a great job and the cord wind up is so handy. I might like a longer cord and a place to hook the cord near the handle so you don't run over the cord as much but I wouldn't call that a problem. Maybe wont last 20 years like the Dyson but it really is a great value for the money.

If you want a vac that really picks up all the pup's hair, this is the one to buy!

I have purchased many vac cleaners in my lifetime. I have had very, very expensive to very inexpensive. Taking into consideration all of them, I must say this is the best one I've owned. The head turns to make it more manageable, it is lightweight, which is great. The best thing however, is that it puts the hair (my Pom has long hair) right into the canister and not around the roller. Cleaning it after use is so easy. A great, great vac - love it! My daughter is going to purchase one as well after I told her how great it is picking dog hairs.

WOW! Very impressed.

All I can say is WOW. We had an older version of the Clearview for a few years before it conked out on us. We liked that well enough to opt for this model, and I’m SO glad we did! As you can see by the pictures, it picks up animal hair amazingly, we literally just vacuumed our living room after a week (3 cats and a dog) and it is jam packed with cat hair. I don’t think I’ve seen the carpet this clean since we bought the house! It’s also super easy to handle and way quieter than the old model. On hardwood, the litter didn’t scatter like the old model, and picked everything up the first time we went over it. The cord rewind worked flawlessly. The only thing I wasn’t 100% happy with was the step attachment... a bit awkward and unwieldy compared to our pet hand-vac and the attachment seemed a bit small, but it does the job. Seriously though, if you want a vacuum that’s budget friendly, picks up pet hair easily on hardwood and carpet with ease, and is easy to maneuver, definitely go with this vacuum.

Holy **** I love this thing

I never thought I would ever gush about a vacuum but this little thing is great. First of all, you can't beat the price for the features. It's really easy to assemble out of the box. Get a screwdriver to attach the handle and hook up the hose and you're done. I want to say it's only about 15lb so while you can't pick it up with one finger, if you can handle a gallon of milk then you'll find it nice and light. It propels itself really well on hard and carpeted floor (just adjust the deck height) and I had no problems with it snagging or having a lot of resistance on a medium to deep pile carpet. I really like that there are no hand controls--incline, power, and cord retraction are all pedals you can operate with one foot. A really nice touch is that the wheels are rubberized to roll on hard floor, so it moves nice and smoothly without clanking and screwing up your floor. The suction is really surprising for a vacuum this size. It almost looks like a toy when you get it set up, but get going and this thing can *suck*. I used this in a new rental that looked pretty clean when we moved in, and it filled the canister on the carpet in one room. This cute little sucker does. not. play. I bought this primarily for hard floor (and it's great for carpet too!), and I could not be happier with its performance. It does a fantastic job picking up both dust and debris, and IT ACTUALLY CLEANS THE EDGES. I didn't think the swivel motion would be that useful, but it is *so* easy to maneuver that you pretty much just have to turn your wrist and you can run it right along the baseboards, where it SUCKS UP EVERYTHING. Yeah, I know it says it has edge bristles and suction, but this is not the first vacuum I've owned to make that claim. It is, however, the first one to actually live up to it. I don't have a pet, but I have a hairy husband that sheds like some dogs, and this thing does a great job. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, pets or no pets.

Best vacuum I’ve owned

This vacuum is absolutely amazing! I was concerned about downgrading from a 12amp to a 10 Amp vacuum. However Bissell really out did themselves on this vacuum by lowering the amps and providing a much more powerful vaccuum than my 12 amp. Amazed how well made this vacuum is for the price. Really mad at myself for not purchasing this vacuum sooner. Also this vacuum is really easy to empty compared to my old vacuum that would get contents stuck in reciprocal. I did a ton of research before purchasing this vacuum and must admit was a little skeptical..however after using this vacuum I realized how underrated this vacuum really is. Trust me buy this model, no need to spend more for other models.

Best vacuum ever!

This is seriously the best vacuum I've ever had. I have a dog that sheds like crazy so I was wanting a pet hair vacuum and decided on this one based off of ratings. We just moved in January and the carpet seemed new and clean but I wanted to try out the vacuum today as soon as I got it. I am not exaggerating when I say the bucket filled up with hair before I did the entire living room. It picked up stuff I didn't even know was in there. And the triangle extension! It's so perfect for the stairs. You don't realize how much hair can get in the grooves and along the baseboards. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with pets! Amazing product all around.

The Best Sweeper I have Ever Owned!

This vacuum is the best I have ever owned. Even the attachments work great. Love the super easy of dumping the tank from what was vacuumed. Love this sweeper. However, it is a heavy unit, but that may be intentional to sweeping so great. It returned my 3-D rugs as when they were new. Dog hair... GONE!!! Wow!

I say... I say...you cant go wrong here...

I was looking for something to help with the pet dander. Didnt want to spend a fortune. This vacuum is great. Has a very powerful suction. I vacuumed with my old one vacuum and and then with this one. Holy crap. The canister had so much in it! So Frakking much! It was crazy. Its light weight. Easy to use on the stairs. Attaments are nice, makes vacuuming in odd places like the couch easy to do. The swivel is nice and this thing gets everything, like right up to the wall or the couch legs, it picks up everything. I have a parrot that has a ton a of dander, a havanese who still sheds even though that's something people think they dont do lol. And 3 little kids (one who is a baby) who make a constant wreck. This vacuum goes from carpet of hair and tracked in dirt to hardwood floors covered goldfish crumbs and bird food mess. It doesn't fling the mess like other vacuums do. Honestly, no one paid me to say this, I wouldnt turn it down if they wanted too 😉 lol, but this vacuum is awesome. I love it. Great purchase. Cant go wrong here.

I have two German Shepherds, so I could vacuum every day and not keep up with it. I have tried virtually every "pet hair" vacuum on the market with various results. I was very pleased with how this vacuum worked. With other so-called pet vacuums I may have to go over an area two or three times to get the hair up and this got it on the first sweep - even in places where was heavy (the favorite lying down places). The canister is also large which is a big help. I had a Shark vacuum, which I loved, but it died and the model had been discontinued. The new pet version worked well, but the canister was so small I would have to stop every five minutes to empty it (German Shepherd shed a lot!). The only other thing I would note was the retractable cord did not do a great job pulling out as I moved and the machine came unplugged a few times. This may have been because of the unnatural way I had to hold it to keep the handle on. I am editing my to give HUGE kudos to Bissell's customer service. I had a minor problem with my vacuum which would have impacted my review. Since this is a Vine voice review item, I cannot return it. I reached out to Bissell and not only are they going to send me a new one, they sent me a prepaid return label with instructions to use their fed ex account to have it picked up right on my house. By contrast, on Amazon Prime Day I *bought* a Hoover model pet vacuum cleaner. It was from a third party seller and they would not replace it. Instead I had to destroy the cleaner by cutting the cord, taking pictures of it and sending them to them to get a refund which took 14 days. Go with Bissell - they stand by their product!
