We love our beautiful, new dishes! They are sleek, easy to clean and easy to store. I've already dropped them a few times and they've made it through unscathed, so great durability. Highly recommend them.

Cuter than they look.

Oh my gosh, these plates are so cute. My everyday dishes kept getting dropped and chipped from uncertain hands. So I wanted something cute that wasn't really expensive. Although I imagine these will get chipped as well, they didn't break the bank to buy. They are nice dinner sets.

Lightweight yet sturdy

So far, we love these dishes. They are lightweight and clean up really easily. They seem durable, so far we haven't cracked or chipped any of them. I hope they continue to hold up well! We love that this set doesn't come with mugs since it seems like all dinnerware sets come with mugs and our cupboards are overflowing with them already.

I'm obsessed with poppies so when I was struggling to decide on new dishes, and stumbled upon these, the choice was made easy! I bought two sets of these and both sweets arrived in tact, safe and sound! Pros: Nice weight, very pretty, durable, easy to clean, consistent quality, none of them appear to vary in size or shape so they stack nicely. ETA: These wash nicely in the dishwasher and microwave with no issues. They get warm in the microwave after a couple minutes but not burning hot like my old set. Regardless I've only put them in the microwave a couple times and will avoid when possible to keep them nice. Cons: The bowls are a little small for my liking. They're nice and deep and perfect for cereal or ice cream but I wish they were a little wider. I kept my old bowls that are wide and shallow for when I want to have a big salad with salmon on it or something. I didn't dock any stars for this as the bowls are heavily utilized and encourage smaller portions. Plus I've yet to find the "perfect" bowl in any dishware set. I suppose my only really complaint is that there's no matching serveware that I've noticed. I would love to have some matching platters and serving bowls.

Pretty, sturdy and lightweight.

I replaced my super heavy stonewear set with these. I was looking for something light, like corell, but couldn't find a color or pattern I liked and found they were a little expensive for such a plain dish. My family has been using plastic stuff for years because my stonewear were so heavy and it didn't work with kids (now 9 and 12). We've had these now for over a month, no chips or scratches and very durable! Run through the dishwasher with no problem. They do get a little hot in the microwave, but it's nothing to be worried about. I chose these over melamine dishes (even though they are super cute and sturdy) because you CAN NOT MICROWAVE MELAMINE! And most people don't realize why... They are made with formaldehyde which will leach into your food! This set was definitely a happy medium between heavy/expensive stonewear and corell. I can lift 6 at a time into the upper cabinet without a problem, while I could only lift 2 or 3 of my stonewear.

Great Dishes

We love the dishes. Ordered the Warm Beans, and they look awesome. Packaging was perfect. Nothing was broken. The only thing I wish they offered were to order additional plates without having to buy an entire set.

great value for money

I was looking to replace some old everyday dishes and chose these for the simplicity and similarity to my previous dishes. I also like that there are no mugs in the set, as I have plenty of those. I just received the dishes and they seem sturdy and well made. The dishes were packaged well with no breakage. Two of the bowls had a dark defect in the glaze but customer service promptly sent replacements. The color is a cool, grayish white (not a warm white) for those looking to match other dishes. Overall, I think these are an excellent value for the money and will update my review if there are any problems with durability.

AWESOME PRICE FOR THE QUALITY!

I love the Amazon Basics line. From towels to duvet covers, and now this set of gorgeous, royal blue dish sets-- I was hoping they wouldn't disappoint and they haven't! Purchased them early on in January and we use them every day, run them in the washer every day, and here they are still as blue and gold as we got them. I'll be getting the black and white polka dot set next to add to our playful collection!

My family comes in a pack of 6 - why do plates come in packs of 4?

Remember that scene from Father of the Bride when Steve Martin loses it because Hot Dog buns come in packs of 10 but buns come in packs of 8? Well I always felt that way buying plates - you could only get 4 matching plates, but there are 6 in my family! Apparently Amazon Basics heard my cries because this is service for 6! Woohoo! Not only that, but it is tremendous value. The plates are durable and attractive with what appears to be a modern take on a 1970's style multi-color stripe. They are great every day plates, and you also get small saucers and bowls. The bowls are perfect for cereal, soup, etc. Everything is packed well - nothing arrived chipped or broken. This is a great value for the price, and highly recommended.
