THE UPGRADE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! FLAWLESS REFURBISHED 4K FIRESTICK!

My purchase came with everything a brand new firestick 4k would come with minus the original box. The box it came in was packed very well with each individual item in its original packaging. Item seem brand new in aftermarket box! I own a second generation firestick and have been happy with it. I debated if the upgrade would be worth it, and to my surprise this new 4k firestick makes me want to river dance on my 2nd gen firestick then light it on fire. There is no lag/stutter at all when scrolling through menus. Set up is a breeze. Loaded Kodi up and began to test and compare all of the same things that I was using on my 2nd gen firestick. Media and content load so much faster without buffering and stuttering video like my old stick. On my old firestick some streams were unwatchable and constantly buffered and paused randomly throughout playback. I have yet to have that happen with this 4k stick, even on content that my old firestick would struggle with. 4k playback is flawless with no hiccups. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I wouldn't dream of going back to my old firestick. I am also using a ethernet adapter with the 4k firestick(used same one with 2nd gen). Everything works better, and this device does not seem to have heat issues that the 2nd gen stick had. If you have the 2nd gen stick and on the fence about upgrading. Do it! And if you want to save a few bucks like I did get a refurb one.

Big improvement over smart TV Prime app

I bought this because the Prime Video app in my Panasonic TV doesn't support the 5.1 surround sound I built my home theater for. I have a slow (3 Mbps) internet connection, so the picture is *very* low-res while the device builds up its buffer. I would prefer that it not even start playing until the buffer is sufficiently loaded. After a couple of minutes, though, the picture becomes higher-resolution than I ever got from the TV's app. And the Dolby Digital Plus sound is even better than expected. The voice recognition isn't totally intuitive. After backing out of a playing video to change some settings, I told Alexa to resume video playback. It took me to another item in my watchlist, instead of the video I had just exited. I found I was only getting stereo sound--not Dolby Digital surround--when I plugged this into my TV's HDMI port. A little research showed that my TV doesn't process 5.1 sound that comes in through HDMI. So I plugged the stick into one of my receiver's free HDMI inputs, and all is well. So--minus a half star for the buffering issue, minus another half star for the voice recognition hiccups. And plus another star for the excellent price on this refurbished unit.

Great Product

I ordered two Firestick 4K refurbished products and both work like a charm and were easy to setup. The refurbished product includes all of the items as the new product (see photo). I got this at a discount Amazon was offering for Prime members ($26.99 each plus tax). Great deal for a quality product. I also have a Roku Express and feel this devise not only delivers a better picture (on my 1080p TV) but the Alexa remote is a nice feature that Roku does not have. I highly recommend this refurbished Firestick.

Fantastic Product

I have used a multiple number of Android boxes, all have left something out. THe Fire TV stick is amazing, it has a very intuitive interface and plays 100% of my store library of movies, something no other box was able to do.

My older 55" with no smart features is now a technological giant

This is my first Fire Stick. The voice features, and ability to add a blue tooth keyboard, on a TV that is to old to have these features, makes this an instant winner! Well worth the purchase.

Identical to the brand new one! Literally No difference!

I bought a 4K Fire TV Stick a couple months ago for my living room and I could not believe the difference between it and my first generation model. So much faster and much better picture too. So I recently decided to get a Fire stick for my bedroom TV and came across this refurbished version. I was apprehensive about buying it because of having bad experiences with refurbished devices in the past but I decided to take a chance and bought this one and take it from me this refurbished version is exactly like the new one. Operates the exact same way with the same speed and picture quality. Don't waste money on a new one when this is basically the same thing. Even in appearance it looked brand new and so did everything that came with it. I highly recommend this one. You won't be sorry!
