Works well for picking up Roofing nails. Width made it easy to adequately go over driceway and yard after new roof install

I use it to pick up nails around an old homestead. My grandkids can easily use it

It picks up nails like crazy.Just what i needed. If it stops me from getting two flats then it has payed for itself.

Used in field after burning various wood to pick up nails and screws. Works just fine and not difficult to push or pull. Way better than the smaller ones you find in the hardware stores.

This is so awesome, I wish I had it years ago! We have been clearing some really old buildings from our property, and must of it has to be burnt. The farmer that built them put so many nails in them, then bent over the ends of the nails. So when the ashes are cold our kids run this over the ground and pick up all the nails. It works so well! We love the quick release handle!

This sweeper does a very good job at attracting nails, screws and other sharp, ferrous objects. And the pull handle easily deposits these attracted items onto a hard surface, such as a sidewalk, where you can then sweep them up. I bought this because our house is being roofed, and I anticipate many roofing nails ending up on our driveway. So far, its picked up quite a few roofing nails, as well as other old nails and screws. Better this, than our tires. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I didn't time myself, but I estimate I had it up and running in less than a half hour. The only drawback is that I think the two-foot model might be better than this three-footer, because the three-footer has a tendency to high-center over uneven terrain. A gentle lift and carry close to the ground surface overcomes this hindrance, but it's a little inconvenient.

Bought this to sweep up mostly nails at our desert camp where other people have burned pallets and other nail laden wood. Raised the wheels up about an inch to better clear the bumpy terrain. Though it’s not made for off road use it did very well. We collected a half a 5 gallon bucket of nails. It would collect so many nails you couldn’t pull the release. You had to wipe the nails off with a gloved hand and then pull the release to remove the stragglers. Even though the magnets are spaced some distance apart it had no problem grabbing nails positioned between them. For the large area we needed to cover the 36” was the right width. Over all it’s not particularly heavy duty, handle and wheels specifically, but it’s a good value and if you treat it accordingly it will serve you well.

I debated getting this magnet to go over area where roofers had worked. I saw them use a magnet so thought all would be fine. Photo shows what was left behind that this magnet picked up.

We did a roof replacement and deck replacement and wanted to go over the yard one more time for safety. We picked up a red cup of nails and washers. Couldn't believe how many we missed with a smaller magnet and our eyes.

Large high power magnet that will save tires in the driveway when doing construction, it will pay for itself in a very short time
