Good toy that will grow with the child

I bought this set as a gift for my grandson. He loves to play with the giant cube that can be made from 6 tiles. He is just the right age to start leaning colors, shapes, and the names of things, so I look forward to sharing this toy with him. The product description is accurate, so there should be no surprises. The colors of the set I received do differ from the one pictured, however the range of colors is similar. I find the colors attractive. There is good contrast between the pieces and the background; the colors go together well. The puzzle pieces are not a snug fit. Some reviews find this to be annoying, but the fit is acceptable to me. It is similar to the alphabet and number sets I have. There are no visible gaps, but the pieces come out easily. This set is slightly smaller and thinner than my other tiles, so it is not compatible with my other 12" x 12" tiles. This is not a problem for me, but might be for others. Overall I am very satisfied with the set and would recommend it.

Thus was a beautiful set. It is a little of center with the alphabet and number set that I purchased but not really enough to be upset about. Overall an excellent purchase. I would definitely recommend this product.
