No need for the heat shield unless you do a motor swap.

No need to buy with the heat shield unless you’re doing a motor swap. You cannot install with the heat shield on while the motor is in the car. Do your self a favor and order without the heat shield.

It doing what it needs to do.

Well the driver side motor mount needed replacement on 2007 escalade ext. I replaced it with this motor mount today (8/30/20). Took me about 2 hrs and job was done. We will see how long it last. Hopefully I dont have to replace it again but if I do it supposedly has lifetime guarantee we will see what the seller does then.
