Freakn perfect!! Worth every penny. Had a fence installed with a gate. Installer used crap hardware, so i bought this and boy is it sturdy! Hurricane proof! Quality latch !

Stronger than the rest

The latch mechanism on this product is the same as any latch you can buy at a Home Depot or Lowe’s. However the post catch is a solid piece of engineering that make purchasing this product worthwhile. We have a lot of wind blowing on our gate and it kept breaking the post. This product has stood up to the force. I recommend this if you need a serious latch. It would be nice if they sold them as separate pieces.

Much better than original! With upgrading.

“Irma” destroyed original latch. This is better than the original latch that twisted around and broke open in hurricane winds. Very surfy for large gates. I used for a vinyl 10’ wide 8’ tall double gate. I’m disabled and had to have it installed but it looked straightforward with minimal skills and tools needed.

Gate lock

This is our third lock in a year and definitely the BEST one. Very durable, easy to install, and the best in terms of ease of use. Other gate locks we had were flimsy, not intuitive to install, and not durable, and most didn’t offer an option to padlock it. This one has all that we need, including the option to padlock on the inside and outside.
