Love it!

I have tile floors throughout my house and while they are easy to clean up spills and stuff, sweeping is a pain. We have two small dogs and they have a tendency to track in dirt or make little messes. This thing is awesome at cleaning up after us. It is so quiet and it rolls around and does it's job with no problems then parks itself back on the charger. It also spot cleans which we love. So if there is a spill you can have it sweep up whatever in a matter of minutes. It does a great job of keeping the floors looking good between housekeeping visits! It also has voice cues to tell you what it is doing and where. All in all, a great purchase!

I'm in LOVE!

Like some other reviewers I was skeptical, the mop feature tipped the scales. I'll preface this review with the fact that there are 2 adults, 2 dogs, and 2 young children in the house. The biggest culprit being the German Shepherd who loses hair so fast that it's hard to believe he isn't bald and I am a bit of a clean freak, really! ROBBIE which is his name, runs around cleaning floors in the entire house, even under beds and in closets. I don't have Robbie set up to clean on a schedule but run him manually with the android app regularly 3 to 4 times a week after I get home from work. He only mops on weekends unless someone makes a mess. I do empty the collector bin after each days cleaning, remember the dog? After the weekend's workout he gets a clean filter, bin cleaning, and a once over check out to ensure sensors & brushes are clean. The whole process takes maybe 10 minutes. After starting to use Robbie I noticed almost immediately the back pain relief. The doctors say vacuuming is the worst thing for your back & I'm a believer now. It used to be that after a regular day of vacuuming and mopping my back hurt so bad I had a hard time taking in a breath. Now Robbie does the heavy lifting. I let him vacuum then pick up the rugs to run the mop feature. With all the Christmas decorations out he didn't get to come out for a few weeks and was unplugged for 2 days while I waxed the hardwoods which lost connection to the wifi. It wasn't a big deal to reconnect and as I post this review, he's cleaning the hardwoods. I have no complaints aside from virtual wall settings but for now I just block his path to the carpeted areas. I do hope for an app update sometime soon. Make sure to keep cords up and out of the path. I check each room and under the kids beds for obvious reason. I wouldn't blindly vacuum & wouldn't expect Robbie to either. Besides how clean is it if there's crap laying around? Well worth the investment and I brag about my guy every chance I get.

fantastic robot

This really is a great bit of kit - with some provisos. Anyway, first impression is that this is a very well made and quite heavy bit of kit. Unlike some low end stuff this actually feels like it might work. Setup is easy.But when I install the app at first time, it has some problem and the service team help me to deal with it.So if you have the same problem, you may contact their brand team. The app works well and is simple to use.When using the app you can set up times and schedules and regain a bit more control thankfully. When operating that power is noticeable and powerful, it will knock over lightweight things that might be in it's way. There is a carpet sensor to recognize the rugs. Cleaning performance is decent. It's not going to match that of a good household vacuum but it is surprisingly good. Because you can set it up to roam each day a bit like a robot garden lawnmower over time it covers all the ground many times so eventually everything will get picked up. Most of my house is hard flooring with some quite thick rugs around and this unit seems to have no issue transiting from one surface to another cleaning as it goes. Clearly the reality is that on a wooden floor it's going to do a better job than on deep pile carpet. One thing my wife really did like is that this happily runs under beds and sofas (assuming there are on legs) and cleans areas not normally done. Overall this is a good robot vac that helps you but won't take over the vacuuming chores totally.

Best bang for your buck, HANDS DOWN! I was a skeptic, I'm glad I took the chance

Alright, here we go, I purchased this vacuum because it also has a mop function. This thing is amazing. We have four dogs and two cats. All long hair, all shed, all the time. It was impossible to keep up. This thing cleans everyday and comes back with a full bin of fur and dust EVERY SINGLE TIME! It has multiple speeds and is easily used with my smartphone. I typically don't write reviews but I'm so blown away with the quality, power, features and technology of this device. When using the mop function I clean the pad and fill the reservoir about every thirty minutes. My home takes about an hour to clean with 1200sq ft. For the price I paid I am more than happy to say I love this thing, best money I've spent on my home this year. You will love yourself if you do. Good vacuuming and mopping skills! A well made product.

So far so good. I’ve had this vac for about a week and it has done a much better job of cleaning and not getting stuck then the other two models that I had to send back. This one was $100 more than the first two I bought (the A7 and the Euffey), but it’s heavy duty, higher quality and made better. My only complaint is that it’s louder than those other vacs, I think it’s the increased suction and heavier weight. I tried the mopping feature when my kids tracked in mud and wet footprints and I was amazed that it cleaned it all up. I thought for sure I would have to mop again, but it actually did a decent job. It’s gotten stuck only twice in tight spaces, but it doesn’t seem to repeat those mistakes like the other two vacs did. I also like that it cleans in a linear pattern instead of the random pattern of the other two. After the first clean, it showed a map of my house on the AP and it was pretty acuarate, and you could tell which areas I had closed off.

Very very pleased!

This little vacuum is simply amazing. We have a central vacuum system that has tremendous suction and it uses an AC powered beater bar pickup head but even after using the central vac the little Robot finds dog hair and assorted smut that the central vac has missed. it seems to know where to go without aimlessly wandering around, it knows when to go home for a recharge and does so flawlessly. We have it linked to Alexa and also the phone app. Now when it is time for the Robot to go to work we just ask Alexa to tell it to get started.

Mopping is great!

I have all hardwood floors at my one-story house and the mopping feature is great! The vacuum has a large deposit tray, so I don’t have to empty it out everyday. I like that the filter is washable, so I can really get rid of all the past dust mites. I do not like buying extra filters. I was worried that the Roborock would be a difficult install, but the APP made it simple to install. Took me like 3 minutes to set it up with my home network. I usually just manually turn it on while I am at work. I use the most powerful setting as it is louder. Pros: - Very quiet and doesn’t report a blockage when there is no blockage. - It detects my rug in my living room and adjusts the suction. - Wet mopping for my hardwood floors gets it really clean. - The app can be controlled anyway and scheduled (haven’t tried this feature yet because my house has people coming and going all the time) Cons: - It really grabs loose cables. I’m seen my charging cables on the other side of the house sometimes. My fault for not being neat, I guess. - Sometimes gets trapped in my bathroom toilet area, as it’s a tight squeeze

“WARNING WILL ROBINSON” !!!!!!!!!!’

The vacuum cleaner works fine after it maps your house for awhile, however!!!!! And this is a “WARNING” for all who look here.... in order to use the app ( mi home ) there is absolutely no reason why a Chinese company in Shanghai needs to have my phone number, my email address, my locations sent through my phone all of the time even when the app is not in use, and a detailed map of my house. No freakin way is that gonna happen so without registering my life to the Chinese through this app, I deleted it, never to use it, ever!!!!! The buttons on the vacuum cleaner work just fine.

Out of expectation

I thought robotvac was a useless gadget before. Now I have to say it changed my life. I used to clean my room every two days and I thought it's a good habit and it's enough to keep my house tidy. But this vac can be programmed to clean my house every day and it can clean underneath the sofa and bed where takes me lots of time to clean. It's useful. The suction is powerful to pick up hairs. Still are some accidents, like footprints of the dog who just come back from the garden, which need manual clean, the vac can do nearly all the clean job. I won't regret the purchase and I will recommend it.
