Must have for young trees

These bags are a life saver when you have a young trees! We are using these on three young Oak Trees. I love that I fill up the bag with water and the tree is watered over a course of time. I bought these originally because I went out of town and my husband forgot to water the trees and I came back and one was dying. These helped me bring my tree back to life and since then are great when it gets super hot outside (Southeast Texas) to ensure they are receiving the proper amount of water. These will not collect rain water. They are not easy to drain once you remove from around the tree, you need to air them out and hang them upside down for several hours to drain them before storing them away. Easy to clean the outside of the bags. Great if you do not have a sprinkler system or one that concentrates on trees.

We bought these to use for some transplanted trees that were a fair distance from the water supply. Using these was a tremendous help! Kept our trees sufficiently watered and were easy to put around the trees and refill. Our only regret is that we didn’t buy them sooner. Good quality and would recommend these to anyone looking for this type of product.
