I was skeptical of the claim that this thing could completely remove buzzing, but I figured for how little it costs, I may as well try it. As it turns out, it really does eliminate all the buzzing. Before using this isolator, plugging my Nintendo Switch into my speakers resulted in some very bad buzzing no matter what volume I had the Switch or my speakers set to. Using this isolator between my Switch and speakers completely removed it. No matter how loud I set it, I couldn't hear buzzing. The audio quality is also pretty good. In most cases, listening to music, playing games, or watching videos, it sounds pretty good. You may want to boost the bass a bit because this might make the bass a bit weaker depending on what you plug it in to. On my desktop speakers, I didn't notice any degradation in audio quality. On my high end pair of headphones, I could tell it was distorting the sound slightly, however it wasn't much and most people wouldn't ever notice it unless they really tried.

I plug my laptop into a rolls MX44S Mini Mix IV 1/4 and 1/8 Mixer, and the laptop power supply adds some pretty vicious noise to the mix. This cuts down on the noise dramatically. It doesn't totally remove all the noise, but it makes my desk headphones MUCH more enjoyable. Technically, I'm not sure I can say much about it. I notice a dramatic decrease in the laptop noise, but don't notice any new noise being added. With anything inserted there's always of risk of the signal getting removed along with the noise, but I can't tell if it is corrupting the signal in any way. Mostly, I'm just happier with it and would MUCH rather have it plugged in than not. But the number one reason I like this device over the others is that it is pretty. Where most other isolators are tucked in enormous metal cans meant to be stuffed behind a dashboard, this one is subtle enough to be seen sitting on your desk. It's not much bigger than a tube of Chapstick, matte black, and doesn't have any flashing graphics or blinking lights or anything else offensive. It's just a little black box that stays out of the way. It has a female socket on both ends, but it is packed with a short pigtail that makes it a breeze to insert it in-line. It is, most likely, exactly what you need, and nothing more.

I bought this to use between a bluetooth adapter and a aux extension cable. There was a lot of noise in the connection and sometimes it was hard to listen to especially when nothing was playing. when I added the noise isolator all of it went away. It is now pretty much silent when nothing is playing and sounds better when something is. I saw other reviews saying that it negatively effected bass, but when I played a couple of songs that were had a lot of bass i thought it was better than before. Overall it worked exactly as expected.

Talk about perfect for the job. I have a 2007 Camry that has had noise on the AUX cable since I bought the car. The dealership couldn't do a damned thing after trying three times. If my phone is charging, I can actually hear engine noise as I shift gears. Traveling at highway speeds makes the noise unbearable. This simple little box solved that problem cold. Just plug it in and it does the job. No batteries, no adjustments, and it's basically invisible, hidden right next to the AUX jack in the lower compartment. Wish I had found it 7 years ago...

Great product and a very affordable price. Works great with my older Bose docking station and also a generic speaker I have. Well worth the price! I didn’t want to invest in an upgraded speaker this product is a great alternative!

Awesome! That $300 space occupier is now running back at full capacity and then some! So easy to use right out of the box. Plugged in the Bose Sounddock, attached the SMOF Bluetooth Adapter, turned on Bluetooth on iPhone and there it was listed as I-Link. Once I tapped to connect, it was connected. No lag. No codes. No failures. The speaker sounds amazing as I remember with rich, deep, room-filling bass, beautiful mids, and crystal clear high tones! To top it off, this revival of such a great sound system by Bose only cost $14.99!!! Cannot beat it. Bose, you deppped the ball. Guess following the path of propriety doesn't pay off and allows the little guy of unconventionality to shine through! Sadly, where there is good, evil always lurks. The evil of this situation is negligible, which is why I still rates the SMOF Adapter at 5 Stars. Unfortunately, the adapter is strictly for audio music applications. It does not function with voice calls. I have yet to test it with FaceTime or other internet-based communication software. I fear the verdict will follow suit of the once pioneer and forefront technological advances that provided instant gratification of worldwide communication. We don't want to talk anymore! That's why we have FaceBook, blogs, vlogs, and the like! Still, kudos and a HUGE thank you to SMOF and it's employees for providing us a worthwhile solution to the silence blaring from the Bose Sounddock.

I have a Sony MHC-EC69i bookshelf stereo in my shop. This stereo has an obsolete Apple 30-pin connector on it and I no longer have the adapter cable to convert it to a lightning connector. The Smof Bluetooth receiver seemed like the perfect solution. I'm happy to say that it works perfectly. I plugged it in and it immediately went into pairing mode. My iPhone connected with no issues and I didn't even have to enter a pin code. I can finally listen to my music in my shop again! As a bonus, I was able to also pair my laptop so I can stream audio from it as well.

I installed this on my alarm clock radio, and left it at that. My phone doesn't have the greatest Bluetooth radio, so I figured it'd be fine in my room. Well, it is. Works fine. I was in the living room and noticed it's still connected. Hit play, and had music playing on the alarm clock in my room flawlessly. Was impressed. So I put it in the furthest room in the house. 65 feet away, maybe 8 walls between it. A fridge, furnace, washer, hot water tank, brick from the fireplace... A lot of stuff in the way. Yet I still had flawless playback. This boggles my mind! Thing is, the Bluetooth on this phone is terrible. I can barely leave a room connected to anything without it breaking up. Other phones I've used don't have this problem, so I know the phone is definitely to blame. I didn't expect a Bluetooth receiver, let alone one from a brand I've never even heard of, to outperform stuff from Denon, Sony, LG... It's just a receiver, how the heck is it pulling in a garbage signal from my phone so well for so far that every other receiver I use can't even see, let alone flawlessly decode? This thing shocks me at how well it performed. Would like this level of reception on all of my devices. Definitely impressed.

Brookstone iDesign Tower Stereo (Speaker): VERIFIED..! Works like a champ and took all of 10 seconds to pair. I tested the distance well beyond what I intended to use it for. I tested it at approximately 40 foot and it still worked fantastic with no interruptions. I didn't try beyond that. I ran out of room. Crystal clear, no static, lag, or cutting out. Wonderful product that saved one of my favorite music makers. Now it is blowing the roof off my wife's exercise room and with the bluetooth, controlled while she is on her elliptical utilizing her iPad. Best $14 bucks I have spent in a long time. Boom!
