Better than expected

Best kit for the money. The temp control on the handle is less than accurate, but it is variable. The solder suckeris better than the one that comes with the Pro's Kit. The solder actually sticks. The desolder ribbon works, the bag is large enough to hold the stand assembled, which the classes wither simular wire spring stands will not do. Bought as a spair for around the house, I use it at work.

Nice Iron!

I just got around to using this today, works great. The quality is good too. The tips seem to be just as good as Ungar used to be, before they were bought by Weller. Be sure to get tip tinner to keep your tips longer. I clean and tin my tips every time I set down the iron, I've had some tips last over a year of daily use. Buy a set of extra tips if you use desolder wick, it has a tendency to eat up tips quick, and use only those tips to do all your desoldering.

Good quality & reasonably priced

I needed something basic to solder LED strip light connections. This was the cheapest option that comes with basic accessories. Overall, really good value for money and heats up really quickly and does the job well. The additional tips are bonus and comes with tool to change. Overall, I am very happy so far.

Like everything about it. Bought it to repair my Samsung tablet because I needed a very small tip. It did the job! I'm using it to type this review.

Impressive. It had a nice Velcro kit and a variety of tools fit neatly within it. I'm impressed 10 bucks bought so much.

Pretty nice kit

Pros Great for beginners like me! Easy to use Easy to set up Just did my first soldering on replacing a mouse switch. Great price. Weak Cons( Nothing serious) tweezers bend fairly easily Overall : This kit is very nice especially for the price. Me being a beginner I felt like this was a great kit to start out with. The cons aren't a real problem, And i only wish it came with a desoldering wick, Which would've helped with my desoldering better than the vacuum.

Excellent value

I needed to do a couple soldering repairs and could not locate my weller soldering gun after I moved. I decided to give this inexpensive kit a try and so far have been impressed. Comes with everything you need except the wire stripper is almost useless you can just use a lighter in a bind. The soldering iron was great love that it has a on and off switch on the cord most others you have to unplug. I also found the small stand with sponge handy to hold it off the table and to clean the tip be sure to wet the sponge first. The adjustable temp is nice if you need to solder really small wires. The solder included works great. Keep in mind the flux included is the hard type so you can only clean your tip with it you cant just dip your wire in it. Overall I recommend it and think its a superb value good job!

Works great for small projects. Nice reusable case to keep everything in.
