I've used a number of running armbands over the past few years. I have tended to go for the ones that have look like a neoprene case with a clear cover that facilitates the touch screen options of the phone screen. I was never really satisfied with them because jamming the phone into the pouch was usually an endeavor, the screen got foggy when I worked out, the earphone port never lined up right, and the touch screen was really touchy. They worked, to some extent, but they never were all that great. When I saw the Bone Collection Sports Running Armband, I thought it was different enough and inexpensive enough to give a try. I had some concerns that it would fit my phone Samsung Note 8 with protective case, but I thought I'd give it a try. So far, it works great. The armband is easy to get on and off (slip the bands over the four corners); is secure on my arm (no slippage); lightweight; and well made. I'm really impressed with the quality of the materials. There's not much there (rubber piece that holds the phone & neoprene strap), but it appears to be of high quality under close inspection. All my previous issues with fog; touchy controls; and the earphone port lining up are no longer issues. I have yet to encounter any problems with this armband. A couple of tips. The large band works for arms up to 17". My bicep is 17", and the large band works great. I'm able to put the band around my arm and tighten it with no issues at all. I did purchase the smaller strap thinking that it was an extender - ITS NOT. It's a strap for someone with a very small arm circumference or maybe to attach to your bike or exercise equipment. Next, I clean my band after every workout. I simply rinse the band in the shower and lightly dry with a towel. My past experience with these bands is that they will collect odor after a while; however, I have not experienced that with this band (but again, I rinse it off after each workout). Finally, I have a Samsung Note 8 (somewhat larger phone) that is contained in a protective case. This band works great for my phone with case on. If you have a larger phone (Note, iPhone +, etc), this armband should work ASSUMING that you do not have an exceptionally large protective case (Otterbox). I think the larger cases will cause some issues as the bands can really only stretch so far. I bought the gray version of this armband. My wife purchased the black version. Both as far as I can tell are exactly the same. No differences in quality, materials, or the phones it can hold (my wife has the iPhone 8+ in a case - no issues). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I would purchase again. I would not go back to the other types of armbands.

I had actually been shopping for a version with a swivel, but the attachment bands for those types seem to interfere more with the front cameras as well as the home buttons (if you have one) or face ID. They also add weight and have really wide bands. What appeals to me about this holder is that it is lighter weight, has a narrower band, and a replaceable neoprene strap. I'll also note that while this is marketed as an armband, I prefer wearing it on my wrist with the phone against the inner wrist. This feel more comfortable to me, probably because I'm so used to palming my phone but also allows me to use my phone apps in a natural way without breaking my stride. The silicone holder has a nice, soft, skin-like texture. While it won't prevent build-up of sweat as you workout, it does make it a bit more tolerable. It is vented at the top and bottom portions of the holder, but not in the area that bridges across the neoprene band (which would weaken it, so I understand the compromise). Finally, as I noted earlier, the neoprene band is easily removable and replaceable. As with any Velcro-type material, this is likely to wear out the quickest and it is really thoughtful that the manufacturer gives you the option to replace just the band!

I wasn't too sold about the price when I initially saw this product. I decided to bite the bullet since I figured I would be using it frequently and was hoping it met my expectations. It did thankfully. Pros: - Simple, easy to setup around your bicep. - Snug and secure. Despite my frequent Sunday 10 mile runs, never made me distrust the effectiveness of the product. - Materials seem good for the price point. Definitely has a premium look and feel to it that doesn't compare to similar products on the market - Has been extremely durable, which is more than I can ask for. Cons: - Sometimes if I am sweating a lot, it absorbs a bit into the band and causes it to slightly slide and shift up and down my bicep. Nothing major, just a slight adjustment and usually I'm good to go.

My current armband was used so often the velcro was no longer working so i found this arm band on amazon and despite only one review, albeit positive, i ordered it. I liked how this arm band looked. Plus it is compatible with any phone up to 6.5" and i can use it even with the case on my phone. I got it today and love it. If you are afraid your phone will fall out of this arm band don't be. I was shaking it in the arm band and it never got loose or even moved. It is a solid fit on my Moto X Pure. I also tested it on a bike ride and since there is no plastic screen it is a lot easier to use my phone if needed. Before this arm band when i went on a run to turn off my running app i had to pull it out of the case which would slow down my time for tracking. Not with this case. Plus this armband has more velcro for a better fit on my arm and unlike the other ones despite a big phone i can still use my arm. The strap detaches for easy cleaning which will come in handy since i run and sweat a lot! I bet i will get a second one of these for my wife shortly. Update - one year later and and this arm band still keeps me satisfied. despite my sweaty runs this thing drys fast and and use of silicon means not much of the armband absorbs my sweat. i even switched to a Samsung S8 and this case still works great. My arm used to get numb under my old armband on runs for 10 miles or more, that is no longer an issue with this armband.

This armband holds my phone and stays put on my arm for my entire run. I have an S9 plus it fits perfectly and the band is comfortable and easy to wear.

Finally upgraded to the Samsung s9 plus. The case I purchased is annoying to remove so I needed an armband for my runs that would fit with my case on. This one checked off all my requirements. It's pretty easy to stretch around my phone with its case on. Unlike most of the new armbands out I can still see who's calling and access my phone controls/ apps without having to remove it from the band. It's made up of rubber and neoprene not hard plastic like some I saw. The band is comfortable and stays put for the most part while running. I say the most part because the first time wearing it I did have to keep tightening the band as it seemed to slip or become loose on my arm just a tad. It wasn't that the velcro was unstrapping or anything but rather the neoprene stretching a little. The armband is neoprene so it has some stretch but not a lot. Nothing major that would be a deal breaker or make it feel like it wasn't secure. After the initial run using it I feel it has a nice secure fit. No slipping or worrying that my phone will fall. The neoprene armband is also removable so if you had one you prefer better you can swap it out. Overal I am highly satisfied with it and would def recommend it for anyone that wants an armband and still have access to their phone screen and controls.

I have a small arms so I have difficulty finding a good armband that won't slip evrytime I run. This armband is light and fits perfectly. I bought one for my girlfriend that has a bigger arm than me and it fit perfectly as well.

If you have an iPhone X or XS, you need the entire "notch" to be uncovered for FaceID to function. Unfortunately, that seriously limits the armbands that will work, b/c most of them have the four top and bottom straps that hold the phone. (I bought a few to keep the one that worked best) This one is wonderfully simple, and it's the first armband I've ever had that I didn't have to remove my phone case or even unplug my headphones. Does its job really well, in the simplest and most efficient way possible.

Works well better than the ones with the plastic over the touch screen. Hasn't fallen off feels solid. I like way better than the plastic ones. Works for running outside and inside. Used probably 6 times. I'm 5'0 and the band fits around my arm good.. if the band was a tiny bit longer that would be better, but works, just have to put it on my arm with two hands or velcro it up and slip on my arm. I would say runs small. Unless your a petite person w/ petite arms considering getting next size up medium or large. Overall better than competitors. I like the sleek non bulky look. Would recommend to friends.

This thing is great! Now I have only had it a day and have not ran with it yet. But the design is awesome. I have big arms large fits great. Leaves the phone open and easy to access the screen.
