This camera is just like the instant photo cameras of old, just with smaller photos. Easy to use, and quick to be able to give the pictures to friends. Not meant much for low-light or for scenery, but great for the "capture-the-friend" moments. Not much difference when selecting different light levels on the camera. It works well with bright light facing the subject.

Fun and easy to use

This was a gift for my seven year old. She loves it. It’s easy to use and fits in her hands perfectly. It’s easy to load the film into and the pictures are decent. They remind me of the old pictures you see from the 80s where the flash was on! Ha! The filters are easy to put on and take off.

Excellent Gift!!

The camera is very nice and pictures turn out great! I bought it for my daughter's 18th birthday because she wanted to make collages for her senior year and first year of college with immediate prints. She loves the Polaroid white edges to write on! I highly recommend it. She drops it in her purse and carries it with her everywhere. She is very pleased with the size of the camera, quality of pictures and it served her desire for immediate printable pictures.

It's not about the quality, its about the fun.

Okay I'm going to be honest, you are NEVER going to get a perfect photo out of this camera. It's a poleroid, it just doesnt have the dynamic range. However it is a bundle of fun to mess with. You're gonna have bad photos and your going to over expose a lot of things, so make sure it's not the only camera you bring with you. Personally, I took this little device on my trip to Italy and London just to have some fun and see how far I could push its limits with a bunch of film, expecting to waste half of it. It was always fun trying to guess which ones were going to expose, and then wait and find out in 5 minutes. When one did turn out really well, it was a celebration. The whole group loved it. By the end I was getting it down really well. I ended up with a few really cute little shots as keep sakes from the trip, but I always had my phone camera for the really memorable moments. It works best for capturing people or closer subjects, but you CAN capture landscapes on this guy... You just have to have the perfect lighting and perfect settings! And that's half the fun.
