Very easy to use
I'm really glad I purchased this cooktop. We use it a lot, mostly outside for deep frying, frying and hot pot. The cooktop gets hot quick, holds temperature well, does not overheat frying oils or pots. Very easy to use and clean. The surface does not scratch, the cooktop is lightweight and portable, cools off pretty quickly. Overall, its a very good choice!!

Heats quickly and is easy to use
Please remember not any pan will work. Most pans do not work with induction cook tops. This one heats very well and very fast. Totally fine for everyday use. I would like to purchase induction cookware because it's hard to find good pans in store.

Worked great!
First experience with an induction cooktop. Bought it to use with hot pot. Even though the pot itself had an 11 or 12 inch base, we were cooking a broth, so it did great. (The directions that come with the pot say it handles a maximum pan size of 8.7 inches). I agree that if you were trying to cook something evenly in a pan, you would not want to exceed the recommended diameter. But for a soup or something like it, there was more than enough power to handle it. I turned it on Level 8 (out of 9 power settings) so we could keep the broth boiling while continually adding items (even frozen potstickers). Worked like a charm on the 13" stainless steel pot. You can see it in the middle of the table. Simple to use. Push a couple of touch sensitive buttons to turn it on, and then use the knob to adjust the temperature or power level. Added bonus is that it is safer for my aging mother in law to use than exposed electric coils or burning gas. They are going to get one for their home for safety purposes.

Great with creuset cast iron pot
I bought it for making hot pot/shabu shabu. I used my creuset pot, it heats up very quickly and boils within a few minutes. I am very happy with this purchase.

Fast, efficient and quiet
This works perfectly out of the box. Plug it in and it's ready to go. Unlike alot of other induction cooktops, the fan is not terribly noisy, the controls are easy to use and simple to figure out. MUCH better then more expensive models and it simple to keep clean

Temperature Precision Control
The Electronic Induction Cooktop is well constructed and has a sleekly attractive design. It is functionally safe, quiet, time efficient, easy to clean and maintains precise temperatures over an extended periods of operation. We love it for Asian Style Hot Pot cooking, but can envision many other uses. It is the perfect size for a small dining room table - an excellent value for the price.

Perfect for family hotpot and Shabu-shabu :)
I wanted to have Shabu-shabu at home and bought this one after researching a few because I like the safety feature and it has good reviews. I used it with the metal pot I have it at home. I didn't know that it came with the small magnetic sticker for testing the pots. That's convenient as I haven't used an induction cooker at home before. It was easy to operate and heat up pretty quickly. I had fun adjusting temperature settings during the meal and it worked perfectly! What I like most are: .Easy to use ( All the buttons are quick intuitive even for the first time user like me) .Quick to heat up and adjust the temperature. .safety features ( we didn't have any problem using it on a wooden table. I was initially worried. but the surface underneat the cooker did not heat up) .Finally, easy to clean.

Finally, REAL heat
I am a home-chef, and I married an ACTUAL chef. Despite that, we've lived in a house with an oddball, half-finished kitchen for almost ten years, using counter top burners to cook. I've spent anywhere between $50 and $300 on these burners, and so far this induction burner is my favorite! You MUST have the right kind of pans for it to work - but those pans are wonderful to work with, good steel that retains heat well and won't warp! With the right pan, this burner rocks, boiling water in a blink and searing in a way that my poor little electric burner (even cast iron) just can't manage. I'm really glad I got this!

burner
Purchased this burner to replace my old stove for everday cooking. So amazing! This machine is well built. Heating up and cooling down pretty fast, and it can be easily cleaned by wiping with a soft wet cloth. Just be sure the cookware is magnetic before cooking.
