The system itself is easy to setup, all accessary are provided, including 1T hard drive and 4 cameras. Connect all parts, power on and follow the wizard, you will get DVR and display from all cameras. The infra LED illuminant is powerful. 3M HD video gives sharp picture both day and night. You can even make digital zoom and change picture contrast quality online. The difficult part of installation is all about cable routing. My husband is not that handy and has no professional tools to drill through ceiling and wall for hidden cabling. He finally decided to place main device in living room just opposing main entrance. He drilled a hole at a relative thinner wood part near main door which also offers good view of front patio and garage. He used his thickest drill bit to make 3 connected holes, so that the entire hole is big enough for video and power cable come though. My internet modem and router are in another room. I have to put the other wifi router which support WSIP (wifi bridge or wifi extender) for this system. After setting the router in WSIP mode and Ethernet connected to our security device, I can finally stream and remote monitor and control my cameras. The picture quality is pretty good both daytime and nighttime. I have the system monitors and records all the time. Meanwhile I can monitor online through APP on my phone. I got all I need, satisfied.

This camera system is fantastic. Simple to use. the picture quality is amazing. I am truly impressed by it. My car was broken into recent on the back of my property and that's what motivated me to buy this. I did days of research on different sets and this one was the one I always came back to. Definitely very happy with it

very happy with the purchase

love the system but the software to watch the cams from a remote pc ( not on the same network) is so convoluted you have to download 2 diff pieces of software and log into some cloud hik -connect thing , then it works fine for a month then i need to contact tech support and get no answer so i contact amazon tech support they can't help but They contact Annke for me and sure enough they contact me, they say due to upgrades remote view is down for 2 weeks .. so in closing the cams are great for the price but they really need to work on the remote view to make it simple update 12/31/18 After contacting tech support i might have jumped the gun i didn't take into consideration they might be busy over the holidays,but we got everything sorted out and im ver happy with these cams

Great system, clear picture, easy to install, setup and use.

I installed this system as an upgrade to my old analog camera system. This system was very easy to install since I already had the cables in place from my old system. Running new these lines as a new install would have been pretty easy if I did not have them in place. Connecting the cameras were very easy plug and play. The only down side i saw to the cameras were the lack of mobility (being able to rotate and adjust them into an exact position that I needed) However i still was able to move them. The DVR was super easy to install and setup. The install wizard walked you through the easy steps. The picture from these cameras are crystal clear in both daylight and at night. I left two of my old 720tlr connected and they were compatible with this dvd( However the New Cameras did not work on my old system) The comparison is unbelievable. These new camera have a very vivid picture in the day time. The night vision is awesome on these cameras. They produce a very clear black and white picture even giving detail to the face where my old cameras whited our the face. ( We had some one break into one of my work cars., with the old system you can see the person, etc.. However when you went to zoom into his face, we were unable to make out his face.) With these new cameras, you get an even clearer picture at night that give awesome definition in low to no light. The app on my phone is super easy to use and it is so user friendly. If you follow the steps in the manual you will get online (provided you have internet access ) with ease. For the price, this system is a must have. I am going to be buying two additional systems to install in my mother and inlaws house. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM! I have a video however i am not able to upload it, as soon as I figure it out, I will upload it.

I have had the system for a couple of weeks now and it works great. Video quality is what I would expect. The NVR is very easy to set up, but you should note that you will require a monitor to set the system up. Other than the monitor everything needed was included. Installing the cameras are very easy depending upon your installation and skill level. I will note that I am fairly experienced with running wires. I put in a few days work to set things up the way I wanted, but nothing was difficult. The system was completely plugged and play for me and I have had no issues with the annke app on my iPhone. The ability to receive push notifications whenever motion is detected and review them from my phone is great. Sometimes I find myself just enjoying playing with the phone app for the fun of it. Overall, it’s an amazing system.

I purchased the DT81GB+1TB as a replacement for an old security system. I am glad I made this purchase. The system came with four 1080p cameras and the 1TB hard drive (formatted). Oddly enough, the manual was well written and informative. The system was up and running in no time at all. My only complaint, like many others, is the software. There are are so many unexplained features in this software that you have to try them out by guessing what there purpose is. Still, the basic instructions will get you up and running with a short time. So far the included cameras provide a beautiful picture. Attaching an older PTZ camera was simple once I figured out the icons on the screen. One really cool feature that is not mentioned in the manual is that you can install the cameras to any BNC connector and still change the order of the display by dragging the camera box to whatever position you choose; no need to worry about the BNC camera order. For the price this is a great system. It is worth the upgrade.

Great DVR system kit, the installation was straight forward and relatively going smooth. The clarity is exactly what we needed, very reasonable price, so easy to install, the playback is great as well. Additional for that it works with any kind of old analog or AHD cameras, plus it supports an IP camera as well... Customer Support was really good as I had an issue with adding an IP camera and they resolved so quick…system included everything you need, would recommend to friends and family.

Can't beat the quality for the money!

I'm a small solely owned security business which installs security systems and I've installed a variety of systems. This has definitely been a great surprise and will be using this system from here on out. Night vision is excellent also. I've added some screenshots from an install using my phone remote app. Another great feature is the ability to playback video from your phone remotely! You will be extremely happy with this system! Now if there was a way to add my business logo at the startup it would be perfect!

Good quality, especially considering the price point

Received this set a couple of days ago, and I am impressed. It contains everything you need to get a simple surveillance system going. To set things up, I hooked the DVR to a HDMI monitor, turned on the system and it boots right up. The OS is a little clunky, but considering I won't be using that, I can see past that. I set up a couple of camera's, changed some of the camera settings and made sure the web-interface was enabled. I installed the camera's in my garage, installation is simple, just a couple of screws and the cable just plugs in. I then hooked things into the rest of my Blue Iris surveillance system, which was rather simple. The quality of the camera's is good. The pictures attached show the image in complete dark and very bright light. All in all, great set for the price. I have several POE camera's that cost more each than this set of 4 + the DVR. The image quality of those POE camera's is much better, but for a simple application, or as a start set. Nothing beats the ease of use of this set.

Great System and Working Like a Charm

First of all, I was searching and looking for a surveillance system for my bussiness. To be honest there are many many systems out there that offer pretty much same features and functions just with different brands.. I was like pretty much overwhelmed by the market. I just came across this one while I was searching one day..and then I just decided to pick this one because: 1. I do like its design and the color. ( I guess there are many white ones out there, but for some reasons, it just popped out on me.). These cameras look solid from the pictures, and I was hoping that they are not made by cheap plastic. 2. This system is not that expansive compared to other ones. 3. It is wired system. Personally, I do not like wireless counterparts because I know they can be hacked..and I have seen that on the news.. 4. The 1TB storage main unit is a plus for me as well. According to the description, it offers many features such as night visions and motion detections...etc..I personally do not care about all these fancy features as long as they can work reliably. After received it, I installed them by myself (I have to say that these cameras are built with great quality). It is my first surveillance system that installed myself. I would say it does require some work especailly for mounting them on the wall and running wires. But the connections and operations are pretty easy, and please go through the mannual if you are going to do it yourself.. It is working great now as you can see in the picture..I do not really pay attention to all other fancy features, but it does have geat night vision. I would say this is great system with all basic funtions you need for a surveillance camera system. Will update more once I have all features explored.
