Perfect to install a 1000W inverter in the back of my Prius

I used this 100 amp circuit breaker to install a Spartan 1000 watt inverter in the back of my 2006 Prius. The inverter came with 4 ga cables. I simply cut the red cable, carefully stripped it and put it in this circuit breaker, tightening the set screw with the included allen wrench. It made installation very easy.

Perfect fit for my need of breaking the positive line of a solar system

First one wouldn't reset, they sent another one asap

I am using this on a portable solar setup so I wouldn't have to buy fuses if they blew. Very handy, just reset after figuring out the problem. The first one wouldn't reset when tripped, but he they resent another one quickly. Would buy again.

Nice product for resettable function

Clean install options. Great for those who don't want to possibly replace fuses. Using 10 gauge wiring into it and out of it. Mounted it near the battery for now, but will probably move it near the amplifier in back. Turns out there may be a problem having it near the engine as it does get hot and a few rare times the amp cut out, like the fuse breaker couldn't concisely trip. Hasn't been an issue since.

Good part

Bought this for the solar system I installed on my shed going from the solar panel to the controller. I like having a built in breaker to keep the system safe.

I'd buy again

Excellent Breaker.Very Well Made unlike lots of others I've encountered including fuses made like this.Wire fit perfect,cap screwed back on perfect and easy too.Does seem to actually be waterproof too.I will def order this brand again.

Peace of Mind

I have an Optima Yellow Top with a bumper LED light bar, HID roof lights, LED strobe light pods in the rear, HAM radio, and GPS. With all that going on, I wanted a circuit breaker to protect the truck. I wanted something compact so this seemed like the best choice. It was easy to install with 8 gauge wire from battery to breaker and then to aftermarket fuse box. The breaker switch is easy to use and while I have only had it for a few weeks, so far so good.

Get that fuse out of here!

Excellent product. It does the job correctly. Got tired of looking for blade fuses. This was a no brainier for a 500 watt system. Nice and durable

Feeds my 1000w inverter just fine

I use this to run my 1000w inverter that has my 120v outdoor kitchen camper fridge plugged into it. I wanted to be able to keep the fridge running while in route to a camp site so i wired in a 1000w inverter near my battery and then ran a cord in the belly of the camper all the way back to the fridge. My inverter has blue tooth and will connect to my phone in the truck to anywhere around or in the camper so i can turn it on or off let alone monitor it. I even tested this set up just having the fridge run on the inverter while the camper is plugged in and it will still run the fridge.

Good value, but not going to stop water at connection

I like the breaker, it's good value, but the hole for the wires is not able to constrain small enough for like 10G wire (which can handle 20A) so it will allow moisture in. I had to add layers of shrink tube to increase the diameter so it would make a better seal, but not good. Otherwise a good unit.
