Does what it's supposed to do...
I got this as a portable way to type on my phone and tablet. I've had other keyboards in the past which didn't seem to capture every keypress which made them useless. I don't have that problem with this one. The backlighting is a feature that I was looking for, and I'm glad that it has such a long standby time, as I don't need to use it every day. It's nice for travelling, when I'm not taking my laptop, I can send long-form emails from my phone. I wish the charger was USB-C like most of my devices, but it's not a deal breaker. Also, this thing paired with my wife's Amazon Fire tablet, which was quite an accomplishment.

A great little keyboard... perfect to pair with a Smartphone or Tablet
I bought this keyboard to use with my IPhone 8S. Seamless connection via Bluetooth with my phone. I like that it turns itself off so that you don’t end up eating into the battery life. And, all you have to do is press any key and it comes right back to life! The backlit keyboard is a HUGE plus for me, as I plan on using it on planes, etc, and don’t necessarily want to use overhead lights. There are 3 settings for backlight brightness. You can easily change the backlight colors by using the up or down arrows while pressing the “lightbulb” icon next to the Alt key on the right side of the keyboard. Keyboard is very responsive, took no time at all to get used to and is fairly quiet. No loud clicks that will annoy others. A card is included in the package to register your keyboard on the Nulaxy website for an 18 month warranty, which I have done. You will need your Amazon order number, the date ordered and the keyboard model number, which is KM12 for this particular model. Instructions for setting up the keyboard for Android, IOS and Windows are included. My only negative comment is the smell of the attached cover when you take it out of the package.... it REALLY STINKS! However, I have had it out and sitting on the table for a few hours, and the smell is beginning to fade. We’ll see how it is tomorrow. I think it will eventually dissipate. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and if my opinions change in any way, I will write a follow up review. For the price, I highly recommend this little keyboard. I think it will be of great benefit to me.

Transforming my Galaxy Note 9 into a "Laptop" - Keyboard stage
This is part 2 of 3 of my little test to find out if I can, indeed, use my new Galaxy Note 9 as a "laptop" - replacing even my "ultrabook" when I'm doing something like very lightweight travel. The goal was to hit about 70 to 80% of the functionality of my laptop, using only my phone, and only what would fit into my messenger bag without overstuffing it. This keyboard paired with the Note 9 with zero difficulties. The "origami" cover/stand seemed a little awkward in the pictures online, but it folds up very nicely, and does feel like it might hold up reasonably well as long as I don't expect military grade durability from it. As the picture shows, the products fit well together. It's running Autodesk Fusion 360's mobile markup tool, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro (on the phone, using the S-Pen), Slack, and email. It all feels very good at first blush. The acid test will be when I take it along with the rest on a week long "vacation" tomorrow. I'm in product development, so "vacation" means I only have to stay in touch with the team about 12 hours per day instead of the usual 23.5. I'll update afterward, as this setup could be very useful for those like me. Check my other reviews for the Mouse and Monitor. The USB-C to HDMI adapter I picked up long ago, but it works flawlessly as well. Samsung Dex desktop switched on, displayed, and ran immediately.

Brilliantly engineered portable keyboard that gets the job done!
I purchased this sweet little keyboard to go along with my tablet and it was money well spent. It is small enough to easily tote about when traveling and light weight so as to not make my purse feel like I'm schlepping bricks. That said, the keys themselves are large enough for comfortable typing and have a satisfying click when pressed so I know the keystroke registered. The backlights for the keys are gorgeous and the ability to change or dim them is a huge aesthetic plus. I generally use full brightness and purple or teal. The battery life is great and is more than adequate for my needs. I haven't had to charge yet after my initial charge which took only an hour or so. It can be used whilst charging. It connected to my phone with Bluetooth in seconds and is compatible with iOS, Android (my devices), or windows devices. Yes, you can pair it with multiple devices! The keyboard itself feels sturdy and has no flex so it can easily be used on a lap. The case is a brilliant design, securing to the keyboard with magnets and utilizing additional magnets to origami fold into a stand that holds my 10.5 inch tablet at a great angle for typing. The case is covered in a buttery soft leather that feels good on the hands and has grip so it won't slide about as you type and is easy to hold when carrying the keyboard around. The attached stylus loop is very handy for keeping my S pen in a known location and I greatly appreciate that extra touch. All in all, its a fantastic item for a delightfully modest price. I've already suggested my husband get one!

Seems like a great quality keyboard!
First of all, the quality seems great! It feels solid and the key strokes are very nice. It's definitely a smaller format than a regular keyboard, so you have to adjust your fingers accordingly, but that's the whole point for me of getting it was to have a way to travel light on a plane. I had a 1 day seminar to go to and didn't want to take my 17" laptop on the plane for taking notes, so I used my iphone with this keyboard to take notes for the whole 8 hour seminar. It worked great for that! The keys light up with LED backlighting in several different colors (you can chose which one) and at 3 different brightnesses (or completely off). It's very easy to adjust all that. The bottom of the keyboard is metal (magnets stick to it), while the top is made out of plastic. It measures 9.5" x 5.25" x .25" thick at the thickest point. It was easy to connect to my phone. I will say that from my experience (I haven't tried different scenarios, it's just what I noticed in using it) that if you connect it to one device, and then later connect it to a different device, when you try to connect the first one again, you will need to connect as if it's a new connection again (not that that's a hard thing to do). However if you're using it with one device, it connects automatically every time you turn it on. The keyboard has different controls based on what device you are using it with. You initially press a certain key combination to select what device you are using, and the controls change to work with that device. Once you have it set up that way, you don't have to keep selecting it every time you use it. It keeps those settings. I'm using it with an iphone, and the main thing I controlled with the keyboard while using it was the brightness of my screen. It was convenient for that 8 hour seminar to turn the screen brightness down with the keyboard rather than having to pick up my phone and do that to save on battery life. I haven't used the keyboard long enough to know how long the battery lasts, but I know it didn't die on me during that whole seminar. It does go to sleep if not using it for a while, but once you start to press a couple of keys it wakes up. A couple of times it was a bit annoying to start to type when it had gone to sleep, but I guess that's better than having it die because it was on all the time and used up the battery. It wasn't like it took a long time to wake up, I just had to get used to that feature. The case it comes in is nice as well. Not sure how it would hold up over time if it got used a lot (I haven't used it that long to know), but as of now it seems to be doing fine. I used it on my lap to type for the seminar while propping up the phone against the support that it makes by folding it, and it worked fine. It would have been more convenient to have a larger surface to set it on rather than just my legs, but I was able to make it work as it was. The keyboard attaches to the case magnetically, so if I didn't want to use it, I could just lift it off the case. I would highly recommend it to others, and if I needed another one, would definitely purchase the same one again. And in case you're wondering, I did NOT get this product free or at a discount. I paid full price for it. :)

Love this keyboard even more than my first Nulaxy and so do my students
I have the non-back lit version of this keyboard and it works very well. I used it for travel over the summer and it was portable (fit right into my ipad case) and easy to use. The only drawback of the other keyboard is that it was hard to use in low light areas, such as an airplane at night. This back lit version takes care of that issue. This keyboard also has the delete key that the other keyboard does not have, which is important for those using the Windows OS. What I really love about this keyboard is that you can choose the color of back lighting. This is highly motivating for my students at school who are reluctant to write or type. Having the choice of color, or being able to change the color or turn off back light gives them options to work with. Battery life is excellent. The unit is lightweight and portable. The folding case/stand protects the keyboard during storage and travel. The connection to my device (iPad mini) was quick and seamless. I highly recommend this keyboard for travel, business, travel and for school use.

Fantastic Keyboard
I am so in love with this little keyboard! Writing this review on it, in fact. It’s wonderful. You can change the colors, and they have several brightness levels (the high setting is really bright). The letters light up, not just the edges of the keys, so you can see the characters easily. It’s taking some getting used to as far as the size goes; with a 9.7” iPad it’s the same length (long-ways), so the keyboard is pretty small. But in time I’m typing better and better on it. It’s so nice to plop it on my lap with my feet up! Another thing I like is the key quality. It feels better than my laptop! The keys have a good amount of travel and are smooth; they have a definitive click but it’s not loud, and it just feels good. My HP laptop’s key’s travel a bit less and sound more clicky than this does. It’s not silent, more like a dull but firm click sound with a nice feel. The folding stand/case is nice. It only has one screen angle but it’s a good angle for both lap use and on a table. When stored, the case wraps around the keypad and looks good while it protects. The keypad can also be removed from the case easily - it’s attached only by magnets - very clever. That way if you do want a different angle or a little distance from keys to tablet, just take the case off and have at it. The keyboard connected easily via Bluetooth - no troubles at all. It goes to sleep if you leave it sit and wakes up with a key press. It turns off the lights fairly soon after leaving it sit, too. I haven’t used it enough to judge battery life or long-term durability, so I’ll update the review in a few months.

AMAZING keyboard at an AMAZING price! Read update for great tip!
Truly impressive! Worthy of all five stars! I mean, did you check out the review rating distribution? Most are five stars, a few are four stars, and nothing after that. It means if you buy this keyboard, you will love it! No, I am NOT using too many exclamation points, here. As my headline says, this is an AMAZING keyboard. First, I have an iPad Pro 12.9. I have a rule that if a product, no matter how many stars it has, has a double digit percentage of one stars, I am not buying it. I was also looking for a keyboard for my iPad with the conditions that it be small, durable, great to type on, preferably backlit (though I could sort of live without that), use on my lap, and have a holder for the Apple Pencil. Did you know that none of the major brands (Logitech, Zagg, and Apple) fit any of those conditions? As a matter of fact, almost every single Bluetooth keyboard I researched here on Amazon did not fit those conditions. Not only that, almost all of the keyboards had double digit one star rating percentages. Could not believe it. No one made a good, reliable keyboard for the iPad 12.9. Apple’s Smart Keyboard was actually one of the lowest rated. And to top it off, all of the forementioned brands’ keyboards are over $100!!! Logitech’s at $119+, Zagg at $130, Apple Smart Keyboard (the worst quality keyboard) at $169. THIS KEYBOARD IS ONLY $25 BUCKS!!! Then I found this. The quality is incredible. Once you take it out of the box, you immediately are impressed. It is thin. It is light. It is constructed well. The cover which acts as the stand is ingenious. Pairing was simple. This thing is so thin and small! Did I mention that already? :) It is very thin, yet it has a wonderful keypress to it. It feels just as good as my HP Spectre 15t’s laptop keyboard. Well, actually, it feels even better. I love the backlighting, too. Three different brightness settings and five different cool-looking colors. Plenty of keyboard shortcuts, too. This thing feels way solid. And it is compact, yet give me the feel of nearly a full keyboard. I am typing this review with it right now. This keyboard is great for speed typists. Large shift keys. (Some keyboards have a small right-shift key that is ill-placed to the right of an up arrow key.) Out of the way arrow keys. Caps Lock. Function keys. F keys. Tab. It’s terrific. I think even those with large or “fat” fingered hands could use this well enough. It feels rock solid. I can actually use it on my lap, even with the weight of the iPad Pro 12.9. Because of the design of the stand, I have to rest it more on one thigh than the other, but that is easily manageable. I typed this whole review on my lap. With the stand all on one thigh, I can even have my iPad in portrait mode. Oh, and another point—my iPad is in a protective sleeve Poetic Lumos iPad Pro 12.9 TPU Case Cover with [Keyboard Compatible][Pencil Holder] Ultra-Thin Impact Resistant Flexible Soft Transparent Case for Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (1st Gen 2015) Frosted Clear, so it fits in the channel groove with this on. 18 month warranty! Register online. I love how this is so slim and fits so easily with my iPad in my shoulder bag. BUY IT! ***UPDATE 11/25/18 I have been using this for some months now and it continues to impress. I love the keyboard’s tactile feel and the travel distance and mechanical function is better than my HP laptop’s keyboard. It is a compressed keyboard layout, but the keys are large enough and the layout is not funky strange like some keyboards. (Ex. putting the right Shift key to the right of an arrow up key) This keyboard has a solid feel and is fully conducive to speed typists’ needs. It is actually a joy to type on this keyboard and I use any excuse to use it. I also like the fact that hot keys work with this keyboard, like Command+C, V, Z, A, or Y for the usual copy, paste, undo, select all, redo. Or in many apps (not all) using Option+[right or left arrow key] to move the cursor over one word at a time, Control+[right or left arrow key] to move the cursor to the beginning or end of a line. In other words, the same or similar hotkeys that I use on my PC in Windows (or on a Mac). There are many more. One cool thing that I discovered about it. Since the keyboard is held onto the folding case/stand by strong magnets, I can adjust the angle of the iPad by scooting the keyboard further down. So cool! This makes it so that I have almost an infinite selection of angles for propping up my iPad.

A handy little gadget to upgrade your mobile experience!
OA nifty little accessory. It took about 30 seconds to pair and connect the keyboard to my Android phone. (I'll try and report back re iPhone). The power and blutooth switches and the keypad itself have a nice sure feeling to them. The attached magnetic protective cover opens and closes with ease, and folds up like origami to serve as a stand for your device. The backlighting is attractive and functional. Important to note: It apparently isn't compatible with all apps...but moat important to me is email which worked just fine.
