Don't be afraid to use based on negative reviews

I did worry a bit about using this on my 9 week 2.7 lb. kitten because of the negative reviews, but I have always had success using the Advantage II for Large Cats on my other cats, so I went with my gut and everything worked fine. No "acid burns" like others claimed, no bad side effects at all really. In a couple of hours I had a really content, happy, flea-free kitty.

Expensive but GREAT

Don't get me wrong I love this brand, it's the only stuff I use on my babies! I had financial troubles a few years ago and tried a cheaper brand and ended up having to spend more money and Retreat my entire house and all the cats anyway because cheaper one didn't work so I will never stray from this stuff again, my only problem is the price the rebates help but not nearly enough!

We live in a very wooded area where fleas like to jump on our cats. Just remember this is mainly prevention not treatment. If you animal already has fleas this will kill the ones on them not the ones in your home. You need a home spray to completely enilate the flea population in your home then apply this religiously every month, if you do this you'll be flea free.

Someone suggested this for my rabbit

I only used a drop on my bunny but within day or so all fleas were gone! I’ve tried countless other products specifically suggested for rabbits but this was the only thing that worked. Unfortunately I lost the remainder and need to reorder sooner than I anticipated but seriously I’ve been trying everything even using dawn dish soap and flea comb(my bunny hates me for that) and this is the BEST thing! Once I can afford it im going to get it for my cats as well lol

Works for cats!

I would like to say this product definitely works when killing fleas. Vets even recommend this product for rabbits since its THAT safe(as I also have a rabbit and couldn't afford a blazing 200 dollar vet bill over some fleas) and vets recommendation and a specific dosage for my cats and bunny worked like a charm. But bunnies or rabbits metabolize liquid meds twice as fast than a typical cat. I haven't seen fleas for approximately 3 weeks. Reapplied it again,cleaned house and problem solved! I am of course by no means recommending for anyone to use this product for any other animal but cats ,unless your vet said it is okay please don't apply it to any other animal but your cats. I would highly recommend this flea treatment for small cats(see weight info) as it does really work. But would also say you should pay attention to your animal after any type of treatment is administered as every animal is different. Thanks and will be buying again if I ever come into contact with fleas.

Awesome product! It works!

I have a 4 month old kitten and she had fleas and read some reviews had me scared to try it on her but it has helped and I see no fleas I put it on her a week ago. And she is fine! No problems what so ever. So I will recommend this product to anyone who needs to get rid of fleas on there fur babys.

I have been using Advantage II for a few years now. It is the only flea medicine that will work for my dog. He is a10 year old Maltese and when I use this I know that I don't have anything to worry about.
