Great for me

Great and small. Just what I need for myself. I could be making a cup of tea or getting water ready for my French Press. It does what it needs to do and gets the job done like a champion. Though I have discovered that you need to fill water to the max line or it doesn't heat all the way. Also there is next to No safety features at all. I'm an adult so I know not to grab this anywhere else but the handle when it's hot. So it's not too big a deal for me.

Great Kettle nice features

I have had this kettle for about a week and use it almost everyday. So far my kids and I are really enjoy using the kettle for tea, coffee and just quick boiling water. I did three pre-boils to help remove the plastic smell from the water. This was recommended to do by the manufacturer. After boiling the water three times there is a discoloration on the bottom of the inside of the pot which looks like mold (but isn't). (second picture) I just did some research on it and they said it is probably mineral deposits built up. I am just surprised it happened very quickly, but I thought I should mention it. It still smelled like plastic so I used diluted vinegar ( I think the they recommend using lemon juice) and it help remove the plastic smell and removed the discoloration as well. If the discoloration bothers you (like me) you may want to do a very diluted treatment regularly to keep it looking nice. (third picture-Like new again, yeah!) If your sensitive to smells it make take some time for the smell to complete go away. Now the unit itself I like. REMOVABLE FILTER - It has a removable filter, which I don't complete understand why you need it unless your putting something other than water in the kettle. LID - The white part of the lid need to be push back to open it the kettle, which is a nice feature. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF - Once it boils it turns off so you don't have to worry about it staying on if your busy waiting for your water to boil and it also lets you know it is ready. LIGHT INDICATOR - There is a light on once side that lets you know the unit is on and turns off after it reaches a boil. ( I actually had it flip to the back on my first uses so I was unaware of this with the pre-boil) VIEWING WINDOW - It has a clear viewing window on both sides so you can see how much is in there and watch it boil COOL BOTTOM - The sides can get warm so be careful, but the bottom doesn't and is save to set down without worrying its too hot.

I am loving this kettle!

I have been wanting an electric kettle for some time, and am so glad i finally got one! This kettle has been working great since I got it, and I love using it for herbal tea, Ramen noodles, and hot chocolate. It's a great time saver and I like not having to heat up my stove top just to boil water.

Good for a small work space

My co-workers and I share a small counter that we use for preparing coffee and tea. We needed something that didn't take up a lot of space, and didn't cost a lot. Most kettles were too big, or too expensive. This little guy is perfect! And it's cute to boot. The only complaint is that the cord is short, so take that into account when you're deciding how to set it up.

Compact Kettle

This kettle is very nice and compact and easy to use. It fits nicely on my already crowded countertop. It heats the wayer very quickly and automatically shuts off.

Very convenient to use

Pretty good price and size for one person. The lid can open more than the one I have. Inside the kettle doesn't have anything can stuck with. So I can put tea leaf in or cook some instances noodles. Very easy to clean. First time using, I can smell plastic. Just boil with water + vinegar + baking soda.
