SUPER USEFUL

You can never be too safe when it comes to your privacy. This product was easy to stick on and fits well in all my devices. I used it for my MacBook Air 11 and my father's MacBook pro 13. We used to just cover the camera with a post-it or tape, but now it looks better.

Flimsy on a phone, perfect on a laptop.

These are great for the price, and they come in a case that you can store in your pack for easy replacement on devices if/when one of them breaks. On a laptop: Hasn't broken or come off yet and it's been about a month. Also, it's slim enough to allow the laptop to close completely. I didn't believe other reviewers at first, but it's a non-issue, trust me. On a phone: The sticky part will stay, but the slider piece lasted less than a week for me. Granted, I was fairly active with the phone in my pocket, but still these aren't exactly built for durability. But they are cheap. Maybe buy a new pack every month. Nothing's perfect.

Block hackers from using your front camera to watch you!!

Prevent hackers from viewing you without your knowledge! When the Facebook front camera hack came out, I wanted more control over who sees me and when. A lot of apps allow access to the camera and can be hacked. This little device gives you control because it works like a slider door. This device works well if you put it on correctly. Tips for great adherence to your camera screen: 1. Open your camera app and turn it to selfie. Don’t peel the tape yet. Just open the slider and figure out where to position it so you can see yourself without the slider blocking the camera. You then need it to be able to slide closed to block the camera lens. 2. Clean your screen with 91% isopropyl alcohol. (70% alcohol has too much water so it will make streaks. You need good adherence so don’t use regular screen wipes as they sometimes make it too slick to stick. 3. Make sure the slider is open and peel off the blue plastic and stick it in place. 4. Don’t touch the slider for 24 hours! After that, you’re good to go!

Covers my laptop camera great!

I installed this on my work laptop so I don't enter a virtual meeting with the camera accidentally showing me in my Chewbacca onsie. I have good peace of mind knowing that nobody can see me during these meetings. And, the creepy IT guys can't see anything from my camera either. I have heard there are ways to access the camera without turning on the camera indicator light. With this cover, I feel safe working in my underwear.

Does the job

I just put them on an Acer Chromebook and Lenovo notebook, so far so good. Easy to install, minimal, and functional. Will update this review if any issues occur over time.

Great little webcam cover!

Purchased an order of these (set of three) total with shipping was around $5 and it's the best money I've spent in a long time. I use a mac for work and travel with it. It's nice to have the privacy of covering my webcam when not in use - it was very easy to install, just stuck it in place and it hasn't moved since. Am able to open and close Macbook Pro without any issues. Will be using the other on my home Apple monitor. Great little device.

Worked on my MacBook Pro

I have a new 13" MacBook pro (with touchbar) and an older MacBook pro 15". Works great for me. One review said it interferes, but I haven't noticed that at all. Even if it does - and I think it doesn't - it would only keep the lid open a millimeter so who cares?! There's no way that can cause undue stress on the hinges. I love it. Pics show what I'm talking about.

Excellent quality

Purchased this three pack for laptops and and a tablet and am very pleased. The covers are thin, as described, and the section that slides back and forth to cover the camera eye stays in place but also moves easily to expose the camera with a gentle push of your fingertip.
