A must have for cheese fondue the Swiss way. Looks great and performs well. Remember to order some of the gel for the burner. I had difficulties finding proper fuel in the stores .

Fondue Set

I recently received the Fondue Set, used it once and loved it. The Cast Iron Fondue Pot was very heavy and nice. I thought 1.1 Quart Capacity would be small because our friends had a 3 Quart, but it really wasn't. It was better in my opinion. I did use a sterno underneath, but there wasn't much room between the sterno and pot so it made the cheese really hot and I was worried it would burn. Sometimes the flame would go out too. Will have to buy the gel they recommend.

Its perfect size. We used it for cheese so far. It fits in the base perfectly and its not crooked as someone said in a review. Its not too deep to use it for a soup imo. I havent tried it for soups yet but i will. Its big enough for 4ppl at least. I love its not electric and i can use it everywhere

This is a solid and heavy duty product. I wish it came with a lid but other than that I’d buy again.

We wanted to do something a little different for Xmas, so we decided to have fondue as a fun sort of appetizer. We did a test run last night and everything worked out great. The fondue pot is heavy and conducts heat well and it's a very social thing to be sitting in a circle, sipping wine and dipping bread into a communal pot. The Swiss have gotten it right.
