These 7 inch lights are bright!

I purchased two pair of the 7 inch Led Light Bar, Autofeel LED Pods recently as upgrades for my F250 Super Duty. So far I am very happy with the purchase. The lights arrived on time and well packaged. They are small, but the aluminum housings feel very solid. The clear one piece lens wraps around the front and sides of the light and appears to be sealed very tight. The only place that looks like water could get in is through the rubber grommet where the electrical wires stick out in the back. A dab of silicone should eliminate that possibility. These babies are plenty bright!! After the installation, my wife was following me home from a meeting and I accidentally hit the switch for the rear lights. Once home, she "let me know" that the lights were very bright. The part I can repeat is that she saw spots for ten seconds after the lights were turned off. I intend to use these lights for off- roading and to light up night time construction projects, so I am sure they will provide ample light for my purposes. For my project, I ran a heavy gauge wire from the battery on the passenger side to a small fuse block on the drivers side of the engine compartment. This setup afforded a safer and more accessible location for multiple 12 volt power connections and allowed for a more logical penetration through the firewall for the switch wiring. It also provides multiple in line fuses for circuit protection. Each pair of lights are connected to the power supply through pre-made wiring harnesses also purchased on Amazon. The harnesses are grounded to the chassis, so running a wire to the negative side of the battery is not necessary. I am currently (no pun intended) running a 20 amp fuse from the battery to the fuse block and 10 amp fuses through the harnesses to the lights with no issues, a clear indicator that the lights consume little power. I mounted the front lights on custom brackets in the location where optional factory tow hooks would have been in the event that the new lights were bright. Didn't want to blind other drivers. Good thing I did! The rear lights were hung on some clever brackets available on Amazon that “pinch” the bumper or hood sheet metal. Next I hooked up the harnesses to the lights. The front harness was perfect right out of the box. The rear harness had to be lengthened, but I knew that before the start of the project. Connected the harnesses to the 12 volt power and (angels singing in the background) Bam! Pure white light where once had been nicotine stained light. No more tired eyes from driving at night. It is important that these lights be properly aimed if you plan to use them on the road. Their design features provide for light that illuminates the side of the road as well as further ahead. The light pattern easily exceeds the range of my factory head lights. YouTube has the information needed to aim them properly. I will post an update in the future to attest to their durability. As for now the price, quality, ease of installation, and brightness of the clear white light make me a fan.

Glad I bought these lights, my golf cart loves them too!

Bought these LED lights for my golf cart. They were easy to install and work great. They also look great and all my friends have commented on them and how nice they look. I also like the side LEDs on both sides of the light to light up on each side of my golf cart. Lights are well made and easy to assemble. Further once installed they can be easily adjusted to wherever you want the light unlikes some other poorly made and none adjustable Chinese made lights. These lights are flood and spot lights which is nice as they throw light out in front and to the sides as well. Seller was also great to work with and I recommend buying from them instead of others who apparently sell the same LED light. Price was also great and a lot lower than other sellers on Amazon. Highly recommended.

Awesome

These are so awesome, before installing the pair I hooked up just one and it was 10 times brighter than the old pair on my boat... Look at my photos of b4 and after... Plus the after pic is just one new and one oldie. Half the power and way more than twice the light... Simple to install, shipped quickly and packaged well. A+ will order more for other projects indeed...

Reverse Lights!

Perfect for my choice to use them as additional reverse lights. They are small enough to not be obtrusive, but put out a GREAT COMBO spread of Lights, both off Axis to the sides, and far enough back. Illuminate at least 25 Feet behind me when backing up. A GREAT Purchase

Great for the 'Do-it-Yourself' inclined!

I ordered these for my truck a little while ago. I forst got them and was a little disappointed in the size - but after I got them working and saw how much light they give off, I completely changed my mind. They are just right for extra illumination needed when I am plowing or need more light in general. The lights (2) come in a small box and the connecting cable on each has a power and neutral wire. They are about 5 inches long and need to be safely wired to your power source. The lights attach by fastening a baseplate to the area you want the lights to be, and then attaching the lights to that baseplate. They (the lights) are adjustable on the baseplate and can be positioned and repositioned as needed. There are accessories available for these lights, but they are delivered by themselves. - just the lights and baseplate(s). I rigged an on/off switch for the cabin of my truck and had no issues with it at all. If you can get these attached to your vehicle, you can probably get them wired. The light given off is very bright and able to illuminate everything for many yards. I was extremely pleased with the field of light considering the size of the lamps themselves. I am really happy with this purchase.

Used as rock lights under my Jeep - A+ product.

I Put (4) these on my rock crawler and rock lights. Super impressed with the brightness. At a fraction of the cost for what KClites or other big name companies are asking for rock light pods. These blow them away !! Xlnt color temp Would definitely recommend buying these. Negative: they are light weight and cheaply made out of plastic. One already has moisture in the lens but all the meds are still working. Definitely worth the purchase

Well-built and bright little lights

These are great little lights all solid well-built unlike others that I purchased that have a thin piece of plastic in the front held on with screws for questionable waterproofing. these are solid look like epoxied right to the frame all solid very well-built bright waterproof and Slimline

Works great for chevy c1500

I have a Chevy pickup c1500 its lowered and i broke my old fog lamps. I decided to buy a different led lamps. I had to modify the brackets. I hat to drill new holes and cut the Original holes to make it more even with the win lip. It's time consuming but its worth it. If you buying the 2x7 lamps it doesn't come with any other cables or switches or dongles. Just lamps and hanger hardware. No instructions, i know how run them so no issue for me.

Great fit for GMC Sierra they look great, the light is really bright, why spend over a hundred dollars when you can have this awesome lights.

5 Months Later Have Moisture Inside One Of The LED Fixtures

Purchased a pair of these LED lights to be used as reverse lights to make it easier to hook up my 5th wheel when daylight is limited or non-existent. Easy installation and they did a good job of illumination.....until yesterday I discovered that one of the light fixtures had considerable moisture inside the housing. Seller's statement for these lights: "DURABLE QUALITY LIFESPAN: IP68,Whether it is raining or snow,waterproof IP68 design for all-weather use. Rustproof, dust proof, shockproof and quick cooling aluminum alloy heat sinks effectively extend the lifespan.over 50,000 hours life span" I've sent an email to the seller AutoFeel and asked them to warranty/replace the defective light. As of this time I have had no response from the seller. Hoping AutoFeel will do the right thing. Initial impression of this pair of LED's was very good. Now that I've already had one become defective I'm not so sure I made the right choice. EDIT: I reached out to the seller, AutoFeel and received a response within a couple hours. They requested a photo of the defective light which I provided them. Once they received the photo I received another email stating that they would send me a replacement light. I have now received a set of replacement lights although only one light was defective. At this time I'm very satisfied with the way AutoFeel has handled the issue.
