KEEPER!
I was so excited to get this! My yard maintenance covers about 1/2 postage stamp of mossy, patchy, and I have no idea what else but it is growing out of control. I don’t really have the room to store a mower. I’ve been paying to have it cut the last 2 years but decided what a waste that is...I actually enjoy being out in the yard doing the work. I just needed to find the right tool. I can finally stop looking because I LOVE this bobbydazzler! It was so easy, right out of the box..you just have to contain yourself from the excitement of getting it outside because it’s going to take (5) hours of charge time for EACH battery. That was hard. I’m 53 and somewhat active but I suffer chronic back pain so the weight was a very important factor...this is light as can be! I also didn’t want to deal with the re-stringing headaches. This baby has a little spool that snaps in, you push the Command Feed button and I’ve got string!! Oh, and each battery lasted about 45 minutes, but I could be a little off on that.

Works for me.
It does the job for me. I don’t have a huge area that requires a weed eater (mostly lawns and shrubs), but the areas I have, this tool worked fine. I’ve used it twice so far, using the same battery without recharging it. After two sessions (two weeks apart), I noticed the charge warning light was on the last green bulb, so it’s now on the charger. I like having the push-button on the battery that lets me know when the charge is getting low. One thing I noticed was that I never had to feed more string so far, even though I hit quite a few rocks and hard fence edges. Good string, I guess. Edit: I reread my manual, and apparently each time you turn the unit back on, it feeds 1/4 inch of line. So, this is probably why I haven’t had to manually feed it, as I stop and start quite a bit to save battery power. Each new start delivers 1/4 inch of new string. For large yards, with rather large areas of weeds, I don’t know if this is the tool for that, due to the batteries wearing too quickly. But for the average homeowner who doesn’t have a back-forty land mass, filled with weeds, this tool is fine.

Don’t pay too much attention to the negative reviews
This trimmer is awesome. I use to have a black and decker 18v trimmer years ago until the batteries died. I figured it was time to get a “real” trimmer. So I bought a craftsman, 4 cycle, fancy attachment capable, few hundred dollar trimmer. I liked that one for about the first year and then I hated it. It was huge, heavy and way too problematic. It just seemed like I was always fixing the damn thing. I kept putting up with it mostly because of the money I spent on it. Well this spring I got out the craftsman trimmer and sure enough the pull start mechanism breaks on the first pull. That was it! I went on amazon found the worx revolution for a great price and didn’t even hesitate. Now as far as some of the negative reviews of this and other models I really don’t understand why some people feel they must compare the worx to a commercial gas trimmer and then leave a negative review. Unless it’s defective, that’s another story. But this is an ELECTRIC trimmer! Mostly I see people complain about the power and battery life. It’s not a gas trimmer that’s going to send grass flying into your neighbors yard across the street. But believe me it’s got plenty of power to cut grass! I just received my trimmer today and I wanted to test this thing. After charging the battery I cut down grass on a hill that was 10 inches and taller in some places. The worx revolution went right through it. And as for battery life, I watched a video review saying one battery ONLY lasted 25ish minutes, like that was a bad thing. I have one acre of land with grass on all sides, flower beds, gardens, block walls etc. 25 minutes was plenty of time to get all that done. And this came with 2 batteries. I couldn’t be happier. Moral to the story, if you’re a commercial landscaper or someone with hundreds of acres to trim then yeah, this is not for you. If you’re someone who just wants to trim GRASS around your home with a lightweight, battery operated, no gas mixing, quite trimmer. This is the one. Plus all the user friendly features on this are so nice! I really like the adjustable length. I thought I would need it all the way extended but actually I didn’t. I was able to shorten the length so it was actually comfortable to use. Then I adjusted it again to trim the tall grass on the hill. This makes me realize how uncomfortable my old gas trimmer was. Even my wife likes this thing and if she’s willing to jump in and help with yard work because this thing is lightweight and easy to use, that’s even better!

Great
It's so light and works great. I hated dealing with mixing gas and oil. Battery powered is much cleaner and easier to use. This is for light duty and wouldn't recommend for professional applications. Construction is plastic and versatile but cheaply made and don't think it would be suited for heavy rugged use. I still have a Husqvarna gas/oil unit that is metal and very durable. It's heavy and loud. I prefer the Worx if I can use. I worry I may break it if I push it to far to its limit. Plastic can crack and break. So far so good. I would recommend for the typical home owner with a small yard.

A great lightweight unit
We are very pleased with this unit. Very light weight and so easy to use. Like the adjustable shaft and the rotating head. We use it around the house and also visiting our loved ones grave sites when we cleanup there resting place. Very nice for that and quiet! That's a plus there!

The BEST!!!
I bought this for my 82 year old father who loves to take care of his yard. We had made an agreement after he had a mild heart attack on January 1st of this year that weed eaters were out of the question. He called me the night before I ordered it asking me about it and I could tell by his voice that he didn't want to let go of taking care of his yard. I did my research on it and how much it weighed and went ahead and ordered it knowing I could return it if I didn't approve of him using it. I went up by Saturday morning (6/1/2019) and put it together for him and plugged up one of the batteries to charge and to check out how much it did actually weigh. I showed him how to adjust the head and the hand rest and felt comfortable leaving it for him to use. He did raise two concerns: 'That little line probably won't cut much and I don't think it'll have enough power to do anything at all'. I said, 'Well, you try it out and see tomorrow. He called me yesterday evening telling me it was the best weed eater he had ever used in his life. That little line will cut any amount of weeds and it's got more power than any gas operated one I have ever owned. Thanks for checking that out and ordering it for me son. Made my year so much better because it sure has been a rough one until I heard him talk with happiness and enthusiasm yesterday. THANK YOU!

Great tool
Awesome weed eater/edger. Works great! Battery works and last relatively well. Begin to notice a slight decrease in power towards the end of both yards. However, still does it’s job. Will purchase again. Would definitely recommend.

works real good
I like that you don't have to have an extension cord . works good but I couldn't get the line to feed out. also the reels with the cord are to small . don't have enough in them. I ran out fast.
