Cheap and easy replacement.

The hood release cable worked perfectly. Install was very easy and only took a few minutes. Be sure to lubricate the latch mechanism under the hood where the cable attaches. If that part under the hood is rusted and stuck like mine was you will need to work it back and forth to break it loose. If you choose not to do this your new cable will likely break just like the old one.

Works like new

The cable looked like the original in size and quality. Once I got my hood open it took about a half hour to remove the old cable and put the new one in. There are several online videos to instruct you on how to. Arrived on time in perfect shape. Was the least expensive one listed. Real bargain.
