Good machine
I wanted a separate cover stitch machine that I can keep set up. I am very happy with it. I threaded it without much trouble but figured it out and it sews beautifully. Just what I needed for the occasional cover stitch project. My only disappointment was the quality of the tweezers. Thankfully I have lots. I am very pleased with purchase.

Great Value for the Price
I have been looking for a overstitch machine for quite some time. I didn't want to spend the price tag for a Berina. However, when I found out that Bernette is a subsidiary of Berina, I was sold. The machine arrived quickly and true to prime standards. The machine comes threaded but was tied off. It was extremely easy to thread. The machine is also significantly quieter the my brother serger. I have tested the item on both knits and woven fabrics with success. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants a well built machine but doesn't want the price tag.

Wish I had a coverstitch years ago.
I'm still learning to use this machine as it's my first coverstitch. So far, even with the learning curve I love this machine. It makes hemming look beautiful and professional. I've made several shirts for myself and pairs of pants for my kids, including a pair with reinforced knees. The stitching holding up well and not considered bothersome with the kids with sensory processing disorder. That alone makes this machine worth every penny in our household. This will definitely help me get my farm/homestead business goals up and running.
