Such a beautiful yarn bowl!

I ordered this bowl on late Wednesday evening with other similar items & this was the only one that arrived Friday early morning! All the others came on Sunday (which is remarkable in itself). This is a beautiful bowl (the pictures really don’t do it justice)! I love the rich, deep color of the wood; it is smooth on the inside & out & the company imprint is a nice touch. Like other reviews, mine does have a slight smell & I’m thinking it comes from the varnish that is used? It definitely doesn’t smell like wood to me (I love the smell of most woods). However I set the bowl out in the open to breathe (along with the bag) & the bowls odor has dissipated & the smell is barely noticeable. (Not so much with the bag) This is a Christmas gift for my daughter & I doubt she’ll use the bag much but I know she is going to love the bowl!! Very happy with this purchase!!

The Bowl is Beautiful and don’t Smell.

I received my bowl this Saturday which was really quick. The first thing that I did after opening the box and taking out the gray bag, I smelled it first. Than taking out the bowl I smelled it to. I was looking to smell some unpleasantness, but I didn’t. The boul itself is beautiful and smooth on the inside and out. I am very happy with this item, and would recommend it to others as well

The yarn bowl is just lovely! It arrived in a timely manner in a soft yet durable grey gift bag with two extra hooks. The bowl is smooth inside and out. Has a nice weight and sits evenly on the desk. No roughness at all in the holes or swirl. It is of good size. The hooks are also smooth with zero roughness in the hook end. There is no smell to the wood items or the bag that I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. It is an excellent product that I think my friend will enjoy a lot. Especially after I have her name engraved on it. I also ordered a set of rosewood hooks that is shown in the photos with the yarn bowl. I’m pleased they arrived all on the same day as I will have hooks engraved as well. I do believe they are all from the same company as the two hooks that came with the bowl match the other hooks perfectly. Thank you for a lovely product and fast shipping!!

Work of art

This yarn bowl is a real work of art, very beautifully done. I tried it out after I received it, but unfortunately it's not for me, it's for a charity auction. It came with two crochet hooks, which was nice, but I'm going to fill it up with some yarn to make it complete for the auction. I also ended up ordering one for myself I liked it so much, I ordered the largest size and I think it's perfect!

Great quality; lovely piece!

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box! This bowl truly is beautiful, and well made. I was especially happy to see how heavy it is. I haven’t used it yet (I’m not using a ball of yarn right now), but I can tell that this bowl can withstand tugs of yarn without sliding all over the place. It is lovely enough that I leave it sitting out in my living room as a decorative touch to the room. The only slightly negative thing I could mention was that I was a bit disappointed in the bag it came in. The bag will work great for it’s stated purpose, but I would have liked it more if it was a bit softer; the fabric is pretty stiff. That said, I would definitely purchase again and recommend it to others!

I love this yarn bowl! I was a little concerned based on some reviews however my concern was unnecessary. It arrived on time with no smell and was immediately put to use. It is currently holding a full skein of Bernat Blanket Yarn (I’m working on a blanket for my bed) and works beautifully. I would completely recommend to any yarnnie.

Beautiful knitting bowl!

This bowl came very quickly and is absolutely beautiful! I believe it's rosewood and as other buyers have noted, there is a smell to it. I'm sure that will go away in time. It's a beautiful piece of wood and it's smooth all over. There are no sharp edges or corners to catch the yarn. I've actually saved the next size up to my list so I can hopefully order it after Christmas. This bowl is so pretty, you could use it as a decoration and add flowers or something to it. It came with two beautiful wooden crochet hooks and a very nice storage bag. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this beautiful bowl!!!

Beautiful work of art!

This is such a beautiful wooden bowl. First, there is no smell. The fabric of the bag had a new fabric smell, and I put that outside to air. Everything was beautifully made. My husband does wood work and really was impressed with the quality and price. There is nothing that bothered my yarn as far as snagging. I love the crochet hooks, but they will just be for show for me since I have my usual hooks that are comfortable to me. I would certainly recommend this as a gift.
