I do Kareoke as a hobby at nursing homes' small parties and just for fun at small venues as a volunteer. I am a 68 year old male looking to carry less equipment and a lighter load with good quality sound for a small investment . This system fits the bill and the quality of sound and volume is great for small to medium parties . I would recommend this unit for any one young or old to purchase . I had the fender /Mawui column speaker and others but this system although not as loud as that system sounds great along with a vocopro karaoke player .

Very easy setup and for home singing karaoke

I got this Pyle P.A..so we can have Karaoke fun at family get togethers and when the grandkids spend the night and I'm telling you , for a small P.A.this thing sounds great. Also,I have a modest size house and don't have a lot of storage room and this P.A.fits right under my computer desk.I am very pleased with everything about it.Oh,and it is simple to hook up and operate. The Bluetooth is great too,get Karaoke tunes right off of youtube.I'm one happy customer and would recommend it to anyone who wants to use it in a similar fashion as me.Tim

I already have a big PA system. But it's too heavy and complex to take to smaller venues. I needed something portable. Something easy to set up, but with enough power to provide music for 50 to 100 guests. Enter PYLE's wireless bluetooth streaming mixer and PA system (Model PPHP898MX). It's 600 watts of power in a compact package that snaps together in a "suitcase like" package for portability. Great sound. Packs plenty of punch. I can sing along with MP3 background music, played from the built-in USB port, i.e. karaoke. I love this PA System. It has so much power for so little money.

What I like the most is the design on how little of a footprint it takes when it is packed up – thus the main reason why I opted for this particular system. The clasps were initially a bit stiff upon first use but worked better when a tiny amount of lubricant being added to it. Functionality-wise, there are 8 channels with one of the channels being Bluetooth. Bluetooth is being used mostly along with one or two mics connected via XLR – for karaoke. Behind the mixer console, there is a storage compartment for cables and such – rather clever. As for sound quality, there are no complaints. The bass had punch and the mids and highs were crisp and clean. We have never taken it over 75% of the master volume as it does get REALLY loud. Most of the time, it is set between ~35% to 55% of the master volume as this is more than sufficient.

The system is cleverly designed and highly portable. I was impressed with this aspect when I first opened the box. The handle on top makes for an easy one-hand carry. The back side of the control unit has storage for power cords, mic cables, and other accessories. This is a well thought out and handy feature allowing you to carry your whole PA system in one hand without needing a case. The system itself essentially becomes a carrying case. The first time opening the system was a little tricky since the speakers clip tightly to the central amp/control unit. I figured out that pushing the release buttons and giving a quick snatch rather than a steady pull worked well to separate the pieces. I have been presenting in various conferences, seminars, and churches for about 12 years and have been exposed to a variety of PA systems over that time. I ordered this to have a backup option if there was no permanent setup available at the speaking location. After trying it, I think it will fit the bill just perfectly. I used it with my Shure mic and had great results. The system doesn’t come with a mic but since it has Bluetooth connectivity, you can actually download a mic application onto your smartphone and use it as a mic in a pinch. Since there’s a delay when using an app/Bluetooth based mic, it’s much better to have a dedicated mic. It has a 48V phantom power jack so you can even use condenser mics. The Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy S8 was quick and easy. I tested the system with music from my smartphone and was impressed with the volume. It can get much too loud for comfort; I ended up taking it outside to finish testing it. The sound quality ranks very high. A 5 band equalizer gives acoustic flexibility. The system also has preset electronic equalizer options. It has an adjustable subwoofer peak frequency setting that can be set at 63, 80, or 120 Hz. However, it seems that the 8” woofers are tuned slightly more for voice level volume output rather than earthshaking rumbles even at the 63 Hz setting. I brought it back in the house and we are keeping it setup as a Bluetooth home music speaker system. It’s a higher quality than I expected and, given this unit’s price point, it’s also an excellent value. Pros: Loud and clear (at high volumes as well) 48 Volt phantom power for condenser mics Built in Cord storage Adjustable subwoofer peak 63, 80, or 120 Hz Easy one hand carry BT connectivity very simple 5 band EQ + electronic EQ Plays from USB, has audio controls on unit Cons: Clips together too tightly

It is handy, easy to use and has a great sound for a group of fifty. How I wish it has 12 channels to have multiple connections with other musical instruments and mic for bigger group and more users. I was able to connect this to 2 subwoofer and have that great sounds and connections. I am willing to buy another if they have a 12 channel system.

Haven’t used but looks super cool right out of the box
